@@danielgauthier2072 I tend to try to stay away from knock-offs when possible or companies that don't have the same track record. That being said sometimes a deal is too good (like some of my Titan stuff)
@@GlucksGym Yeah I hear you - definitely taking a chance even with simple products. That said, Titan and Rep do not have spotless track records. This year alone Rep has had recalls on safety straps and failing j-cups. IMO a bad track record is worse than no track record because it shows a pattern of cutting corners.
One thing to keep in mind about the thickness of the rings - all gymnasts use gloves when using the 1.1” rings, which thicken their grip. I think for most people 1.25” is the way to go (unless you plan to wear gloves or have very small hands, then go with 1.1”)
@@weenerdawg3972 just go to home depot, find similar diameter pole or pipe as the rings and try gripping those. See wich one is more comfortable. Generally, thicker diameter rings will be more comfortable as they won't dig as much into your palms or fingers.
My next set I will get the carabiner style, looks easier to adjust. I don’t like leaving them on my rack because they get in the way. Rings are very good for shoulder health and mobility! 💯
Beware that some of the the carabiner style have set screws to lock the carabiners closed which I lost one almost immediately. They are very tedious to adjust compared to the cam style. These are not climbing rated carabiners and would loose the full rating (not sure how much) if not installed. A climbing carabiner creates a full locked loop and would be much stronger. It’s too late to return mine so I plan to replace carabiners with stronger body weight rated. Leaving the locking screws out could result in serious injury.

Wood will patina and age with the oils in your skin making them better as time goes on. Rogue with cam is $75. Ill spend a little more to avoid Titan products as Ive had many issues with their stuff.
As have I but the wood on the Titan rings is my favorite of the ones in this video. I like REP's and Double Circle's straps. You also have to add shipping into Rogue which brings them up nearly $100. Love Rogue but that cost is prohibitive for many watching this video.
