Bit surprised to not see Lafayette not in the tokens and also not to see Arnold have a British Counter for when he should inevitably switch over. Apart from that the counters look great.
Just seen you roll for Arnold's defection which I assume his counter has a British side which is great to see included in the game for historical flavour.
Damn...between you and Tony, I'm getting hammered with previews of one of the few I did NOT buy in the last 6 months. lol :) Still on "my list", mind you.
We're here to help you out with seeing what's available out there. You can always order it later, since it's on your list. As long as it's still available. ;)
They're minor IMO, and mostly clarifications. This is a topic that we'll be covering in an upcoming show, errata and the game development process. I think it will be interesting topic for people to get a better understanding on.
@@MoesWargames Well, many of the corrections appear to directly impact gameplay...my concern is that these might not be the only problems, just the ones someone caught before the game was shipped. I'm still looking in the rules to determine what a strength point represents...1,000 men...probably but that seems to me to be information that is pretty basic and should clearly stated.
@@dcb5176 a strength point is equal to 1,000 men. It does clearly state that on the back of the box, which is why I cover it. Unless there's no back of the box to show. lol You can pause in that segment and see that is the first line of the 4th paragraph. With the corrections in the box when you open the game, it should have little impact because the notes are right there for you to either add a word to the existing rules and in some cases a sentence. There's also a living rule book with the corrections add in blue already on the Compass website, so you can have it on a tablet or your phone for reference.
@@marchanna many games, if not most, have various bits of errata/clarifications. It's not limited to any one company, because people create games and there are multiple stops along the creation line that can cause issues to crop up.
Thanks for the preview, very detailed as always. Revolution is not really my topic but will be curious to see it being played😁
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
As always great stuff MO
Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Yes, his counter is two-sided and flips when he flips.

Would you please mention also the artist(s) next time in your previews?
Not encouraging to find a full page of errata right out of the gate...you might think they are minor but they show a lack of attention to detail.

a common lament wrt Compass Games in general. Other publishers take more care but obviously take longer to get the game out
