1:48 this is one of the reasons I left Instagram and Twitter, it's only a waste of time! May Allah SWT guide us and give us ability to spend our time on that which benefit us and bring us closer to Him.
I deleted my Facebook account almost three years ago. It is a complete waste of time if you don’t really need it. Now, whenever I see other people on Facebook just wasting their time by slandering, debating, showing off etc I feel like eww. Just can't take it. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala make it easy for us to properly use our time. Ameen
I deleted mine 8 years ago, I never looked back. The only social media I have is the TH-cam lol. People find strange when I say am not on social media..
12:37 This reminds me of this athaar: ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Maghfal reported that there was a woman who was a prostitute during the days of ignorance (before Islam). A man passed by her, or she passed by him, and he touched her body. She said: Stop it! Allaah has done away with polytheism and has brought Islam! So he left her alone and went away. ● [المستدرك على الصحيحين]
Y‘all are a blessing. I struggle so much with the need for attention, so Riyaah basically. I don‘t know how to cure it to be honest. It‘s just something that I‘ve been doing my whole life and it‘s destroying me
Subhannallah a powerful reminder جزاك الله خيرًا May Allah reward Ustadh and AMAU. May Allah save us from backbiting May Allah make us all use our time well and make us focus on ourselves.
When you are in serious of seeking ilm. Most of the things will been seen to you as waste of time. The things u delve into before. Its just the feeling and instint
Baraku Allahu fikum. Excellent reminders. Please keep them coming, especially at a time where the Ummah is in great need, and learned men are dying. My reminder to us is: the “what do you people” If you are new to someone or getting to know them or there is an essential need then I believe it’s ok to say “what do you do” or “what do you do now”. Hate such questions when they are of no benefit to you what I do. Rather you should ask a person how they are, their well being, family and Deen, if they’re married now or where they moved to etc. Especially those before they ask such respectful questions above, straight away “what do you do now”. Like, it shows you have no concern for me. They generally ask to see if you are better than their kids and to obviously say “so and so is just at home” or the like. Why does one need to know what I do now? I can understand asking if one is married or not but asking what they do unnecessarily shows how you are a person of the Dunya. Plus why do you care where I get my sustenance from, or how much is in my pocket, because of such questions. They just wanna feel good about their families. Best thing here is to not answer that question and move on. If you were to say unemployed they would look down upon you and if you say a good career you’ll see them light up. They are insincere majority of them and unfortunately we have adopted the Love of Dunya syndrome that the kufar have. Majority don’t even start with Salamu alaykum, subhana Allah let’s please change this attitude. What a person’s livelihood is of no concern and not a priority to ask.

O son of Adam, you must be concerned with yourself, for whoever pursues what he sees in people, his grief will be prolonged and it will not heal his anger.” Source: Ḥilyat al-Awliyā’ 1/211
Salam, Ustadh mentioned something about the previous episode and I haven't been able to find the video. Would it be ok to turn these into episodes in the descriptions so they can be easily followed?
I agree sheikh, but that doesn’t apply in certain situations, when people of innovation tell you something which is an innovation you have to give them the truth though right?

You can search for it.
