Few extra tips for people. I was only on around 740k during the final boss fight but I was still able to get over 1mil. If you use rage 4 and maelstrom during both stages of the fight that should tip you over the edge.
Everything but the Gilgamesh fight was hell for me. Didn't even need to use Maelstrom on the first phase of the fight, my parries were on point. Thank you for the guide.
This guide helped so much! I got 1,204,893 score which took me a week to get it because the stupid monsters wouldn't attack me for some reason. I'm so glad I never have to do this again!
You are the man/woman. I sucked at parrying, like literally sucked. But it became easier and more faster with your guide. I would say this is my second attempt because I gave up halfway on my first attempt. When I fought gilgamesh, I accidentally pressed the triangle while I was filling up my gage for maelstorm, but it was okay. The second phase of gilgamesh, I only had about 3 minutes left to take him down. I took him down with 1:22 left to spare, thank god. With 30:31 and with 1 059 296. I didnt really cared about the trophies because I only wanted a shirtless gladio lol but it did felt good that I won those 2 trophies.

Ended up getting 1.1 mil before the Gilgamesh fight on my first try. :) Thought I blundered pretty badly in the Bandersnatch fight cuz I dumped my entire Maelstrom on a turtle... but I managed to farm it up again in the same fight and use it again on the boss. That got me almost 100k points higher than what the video had at that point, so if anyone's still struggling 6+ years later, you can try that lol.
My first try I just went hambone on everything and got a pathetically low score and was like wtf, who thought the slow, calculated approach was the way to go. Very helpful guide. 1,000,000+ was easy thanks to this.

Can't understand how anyone can even finish this, yet alone get 1,000,000 points. Run out of time before reaching the Humbaba on the third trial every single time. 20+ attempts and counting now.
Cool!! I managed to arrive the last boss with around 997k and from there I just fighted him as usually an ended with 1.2 million on my first round, thanks a lot!!

Almost 3 years later and thank you very much. Managed to do 1120k on my first attempt so got both trophies at the same time. I did a little bit more than you on the first part up until the snake (almost 100k after snake), then i messed up a few bits with 2-3 enemies and lost both time, potions and points and was at 460k after Enkidu. I managed Bandersnatch a lot quicker and up until Iron giant was more or less the same (670k and 947k). Ended up at 947k before Gilgamesh which i managed a bit better and only used a few potions. Total score of 1120k because of more items used overall so there was more room for error i guess :) Parts with swarm of enemies were definitely the easiest ones, you nearly dont have to look at them, just press square on and off for half a second and you'll always end up parrying something. this guide is God-sent! got it on my third try after following it more closely. (cause I didn't realise you have to click F again to activate Dual Master xD) my first attempt was like 160k haha. after watching this, hitting 1mil seemed more possible than impossible for this newb. thank you!
Man I must suck. I've done this like 8 times after watching the video. I just can't get the timing on this parry system to get enough points. I spent 5 hours on the Cor fight. Looks like I'll be doing the same on this. Good video though and thanks in advance for when I finish this.
2 years late haha, but Cor is really easy once you realize the fight is the complete opposite of every other fight in the game. Cor will auto dodge your attacks pretty much every attempt, so the only way to hit him is with a parry. If you just stand there with your shield up the entire fight and then spam the shield button when he does a blue move you will win easy. If he is red just keep dodging to the side. If he does a jump attack wait 1 second then dodge to the side. That is the entire fight. The entire fight is a waiting game for parry's while your instincts are telling you to attack him normally, which you should not do.
The only way I got it on my 2nd try was literally just mashing square and holding it for a full second, letting go of it and repeating step one. I had no idea that's all I had to do to beat this and get the gold trophy.

Before I watch this video it took me forever to get the 500,000 and i was like how in the world am I going to get the 1 million well after watching your video I was really close I was at 937k so I think I need to work on more of the parrys because sometimes I kept missing them and I got paranoid bc the clock was ticking down especial when I was fighting the red big guy with the fire sword. But i am starting to notice what things i have change so i determine that i will get this trophy
My best was 724k, but I didn't use counter at all and I used glaive arts on normal enemies too :v, now after following your tips I got 1,002,593 score :), thank you very much!
Thank you for this, bit I simply cannot get the "guard" mechanic! 😭 I keep getting attacked and attacked and forced to use items and when I get to the demon wall it's to late and I never get past the next room of enemies before the giant on time and it's back to the start 😭

Got 1162356 on my second attempt with 28:54 mins =D What i did was block until the bar was full for every fight then just parry until they are all dead and used my glaive arts on the bosses & the bandersnatch. Take your time to use as much time as possible to help increase your score.
Got 1 270 000+ on my first try. Got pretty lucky in some places, screwed up pretty hard in others. Thank you so much for the video, you have saved me a metric ton of sanity. Cheers!

Timur Kral Rage increases your damage smartass, he's saying he didn't think the rage damage increase would do anything to your score, it isn't X4 score
Timur Kral X4 doesn't mean the fucking score though, rage is in the normal mode and it increases your damage, score in this is shown to be about combos and counter attacks there's nothing on screen that states doing more damage would give more score, you're a fucking idiot.
