There have been many saints who lived very well with a large bank account. St Jane De Chantal had a mansion and left her large inheritance to her CHILDREN upon entering religious life and NOT to her religious order. She was not censured by St. Francis De Sales for being wealthy nor did he require her to sell everything and give to the poor.
Louis Martin retired at age 54 and lived a life of leisure because of his investment income. His house and garden were pretty expensive looking.
St Thomas More had a huge estate. He obviously was not entirely put off by money since he arranged for his son to marry his extremely rich ward.
All these saints had servants as well.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on those viral videos that people put up where they give large amounts of money away to random people. On one hand they are giving that money away, yet they are receiving millions of views that is in turn repaying them for that video. Charity for the sake of earning a TH-cam income?

You know, I was "rich".. Then poor, then well off ... Then idk.😂😂.
      You know I don't care.
I just ask Christ through His glorious saints for my personal needs so I can serve others. I'm not impressed😂 by wealth.
Praying in the presence of the blessed Sacrament.
      works.

What's wrong with having a house/apartment and some kind of steady income to provide for your own needs?
In my experience though, wealth or "possessions" (are they really possessions, or do we just have the use of them?) beyond our human needs, is baseless.

When your focus is on others.... You realize.
      Poverty? Ha!
      Who cares?
