Joel It would help to clairify that this track was from 2005
I first learned about "Nightwish", because TH-cam kept suggesting video: Opera singer and vocal coach reacts to "Nightwish, Phantom of the Opera". I kept ignoring the suggestion, because, after all I did not care about opera, Andrew Lloyd Webber is immensely boring and "Who is Nightwish?", "Why should I listen to them?". Finally I gave in, and, of course, do not regret.
BTW, that reactor Charismatic voice is very nice and creative. I think it was her who organized putting a tube down the throat of Will Ramos to learn about harsh vocals.
Great reaction.. His Infernal Majesty aka H.I.M was more popular than Nightwish in Finland at 2004 - amongst those that sings in English. Damm, how good heavy metal bands where that time in Finland. Now I have listen to Trio Niskalaukaus. Quite devastating how good the lyrics were - and still are.
HIM had it’s moments, but I think it was always a band more likely for teenage girls. Guys didn’t like too much of their cocky attitude. It was more like a gothic boy band, but I admit that they had few songs and it was a well branded product. More like hard rock than metal imo.

I usually don´t watch reactions with Tarja, but in this case I watched a few seconds of the beginning, and I´m shocked. Someone who worked for HIM does not know Nightwish, not even the name? I don´t think that he is a knowledgeable guy, I will definitely not watch other episodes with him as a guest. And btw, if you hadn´t "HIM production Manager" in the title, I would hava never watched it, so your bad!
