Some love for good old Eagle - everywhere you just see Eradicator spam or some other cheese. I personally tend to go for more long range setup, but this also looks like ton of fun.

One build I like is the sunder with high scatter amp, 2 graviton beams and a high intensity laser. Forgot what else I had on it. Great for hunting other destroyers.
My guess, if it handles remnants it'll handle core world fleets. Pirates aren't even worth mentioning, any half-decent setup will beat those guys. The story phase fleets seem like they got nerfed hard, disappointed how easy they were to beat.

A screener Sunder to deal with smaller ships to protect cruisers and capitals. Then there's the anti-fighter escorts...

It would probably force the NPCs to stop flickering if you replaced one of the MGs with an assault chaingun or thumper.

Why do you issue a full assault and then eliminate orders across the board like that? Does it help improve AI behaviour?
In a safety override fleet like mine it helps to make them aggressive

How do you deselect all weapon groups so they all autofire again?
Edit: To deselect all weapon groups you can press 5 or even up to 7 I think

55 OP is a big sink for Apogee given it has what 120-130 by default.
