I find Pirate Falcon w/ Missile racks, Missile spec and steady officer also works great on remnant. Sabots, Annihilators and MRMs PODs. Its beautiful to watch the MRMs flow when you see a ship get overloaded. Also - I see your Sunders also walk into death regularly...
These builds are pretty good for straight up fights as far as that goes, but in my games enemies fighter/bomber wings always seem far more dangerous than in your clips even to my ships with stronger point defenses and a dedicated point defense tank is... disappointing. I mean officer with PD skill, PD ship mod, and experimenting with different PD/tac lasers etc. Often I have to hunt their carriers first to save my fleet. Haven't been able to test against remnants though, they didn't spawn anywhere at all in the sector my previous game, seed bug maybe?
I specifically built my Apogees to counter fighters because I hate those guys very much. I also suffer from failure to find red beacon systems. From my experience so far there always seem to be one system with a red beacon west of the core worlds
@@LowSettings im more confused how you got so many in one battle. does the game system want you to suffer losses to offer up Cores??? i usually run heavy tanky paragons and never lose a ship vs them (except for 4x radiant stacks fuck those lol)
@@netsquall COuld it be that it's tied to battle difficulty? I usually have +100 exp because I like to keep my dp below 300. I am just theory crafting here my dude
You need to look at the officers. As you can see in the beginning of the video, this Remnant fleet have 11 Alpha core officers, which are in fact alpha cores, same goes for gamma and beta. If the fleet you fighting have none a-core officers, you dont get any. I dont know exact chance though, but more is better. It dosent depend on difficulty.

How do you build your sunders
I like to put 1 autopulse, 2 ion pulsers, hardened subsystems, safety overrides, extended shields and put all point into caps
@@LowSettings thanks my guy
@@str8_krillin_it470 No problem buddy
did you manage to beat remnant ordo with a low tech only fleet?
I did way back when it was only 0.91a lol
How the fuck do you get so many Alpha Cores?! I run 4 Paragons and never get ANY from 2-3 Radiant stack Ordo's :(
I farm them so much that I built a colony right next them 😆

Every alpha "saved" is another planet for mankind!
@@LowSettings That sounds like heresy! The Hegemony will hear about this!
