Can someone explain this Apogee build? What's the point of SO if you are not using the plasma cannon? And especially if you are not abusing elite field modulation with it...
I use the Apogee like a tank as well as point defense because my fleet is weak to fighters. SO gives speed, which in combination with the Apogee's great shield is incredible
That's impressive. I have so much difficulty dealing with remnants. My go to capital is the Odyssey though. And i kinda go mad with orders, which i think causes the AI to derp out. Please teach me your ways!
Remnant fleets have Fearless AI scripts which means they love to get up in your face. SO makes this your optimal range of engagement ^^ It's pretty effective. Always add solar shielding and hardened shields (high tech) or rfc (low tech) so EMP doesn't fuck you up.
@@LowSettings and @Weuyn, well i always steered away from safety overrides. Thought the downsides were too severe. I guess i should reconsider and see how it goes.
On a tactical level, getting rid of alpha cored frigates is a massive priority, because those little fuckers are providing 6% ECM each with elite gunnery implants. Plus co-ordinated maneuvers bonuses, they need to die
Big battleships are overrated in general especialy high tech ones, they lack both armor and point defence to survive mass fighter atacks or smaler ships. I had whole fleet of dovers loadad with sparks, remnants died faster than pirates to a swarm.
How do you deal with stations? I'm farily newbie in the games, trying your scarab / fury / hammerhead fleet, but I cannot kill stations properly. Do you take some capital ships for station fights?
This seem a lot more cost effective than my "keep throwing paragons at them until I kill all of them or I run out of paragons" strategy.

Almost got hit by reapers
I clenched so hard that time

well I just put safety overrides on everything > capture points to get to 240 dp > full assault and eliminate the small ones first my dude

I'm sad that Fury is bad.

In the current patch? Because currently i think sparks got nerfd.
@@ggtt2547 no amount of nerfs can stop fighter swarm.
@@xzardas541 Haha, fair enough.
Expanded deck crews, carrier doctrine, very aggressive drones.
Like a mobile hornet nest.
Did you switch from scarabs because of the OP changes? Or is this just different setup you are trying?
I just tried something new, haven't tried scarabs again yet

Yes Capitals will be better vs capitals because smaller ships like these can't take that kind of firepower dude
Question, how did you get so many story points to integrate that many hull mods?
I usually farm red beacon systems my dude
In other words "just keep fighting"
