Does anyone know if Ms. Duquesnay is still performing?. I remember her from Bring in the Noise Bring in the Funk and Jelly's Last Jam. She has an amazing, powerful voice. I keep hoping to see her in another show someday.
Yes she is. I know for sure last year she performed an event but I don’t know what the lady is up to currently
Ms Duquesnay has taken a hiatus-
They always cut this as well as “who do you think yoi are”

Damn, what a voice! This is one of the songs that unfortunately ALWAYS seems to get cut from more contemporary productions. That being said, would someone please explain the watermelon motif to me? Is it meant to be a more satirical style, or a re-claiming of the imagery?
