I’m an electrician who did the same thing to my basement. They sell a metal bracket for abt $5 a piece that works so perfectly! I just sprayed them first. I ordered my lights from Amazon and the trim was black already. That was a good idea to get smart lights that can change colors. That’s what I wish I would’ve done. But I added colored lights around my bar. My bar is so cool.
Thank you! What's the name of the metal plate you mentioned? I ordered some from Amazon but they were not cheap. The 4 pack was like $60. I ended up returning it and doing with the scrap MDF I had.
