Whats the 3D software you used?
SketchUp , use it all the time =]
What wire did you use?
It's the green wire you can find at the floral DIY section of stores like Michaels
Oh! It is actually called floral wire (22 gauge) 😀
Thank you
Weed barrier is bad to use. And then i noticed you used rocks and planters. Lol thats the only time weed barrier is good to use.
😊 good! It hold pretty well during weed season. I had to pluck out some weeds here and there but definitely was a relief compared to before. Thanks for watching! 🙏
Gorgeous clean lines and it is FIREWISE (if the pots are non-combustible.) Love it!
Thank you!
glad I found your channel Tony. Thanks for the content
Glad you enjoy it! Thank you
Overall, great job. Very clean and modern. One small thing, when you are changing the grade of the landscape bed, I don't think it's recommended to put dirt up against the bricks. It deteriorates the mortar and weaken the wall. If you have to put dirt against the brick, the brick should be coated with a waterproof paint-like product.
That's a really good point to consider, thank you!
What kind of paint are you using here? I want to be sure I know the right kind to get for painting vents as well, as I have heard conflicting things. Was there any prep work you did to the vent before? Looks great!
Nothing specific really, I used just a flat black paint. The only prep was cleaning.
Me 1 minute into the video: Wait. Why am I watching this?… The next clip of him in a muscle shirt: OHHHH. That’s why! Lol
😅🤣 thank you!
Just use the container the plant came in flipped upside down in the big planter
Good option, thanks!
Just WOW
Thank you!
Great video! Really professional. Great ideas. I'm totally stealing the paver edging with stone, lighting, and the potted plants ideas.
Thank you!! 😊
Beautiful!
Thank you!
You did a really great job! Thanks for all the great ideas!
Thank you!
nicely done! Your simple and clean design gives me ideas and inspiration to change my yard!
Thank you! 😊
Hey Tony I'm sure your neighbors are glad you moved in. Listen what design software did you use for this project? thanks...
Thank you! I use SketchUp
Very well done! Sleek, contemporary and beautiful. Thank you, Tony!
Thank you!
Danm nice work is that sketch up free
Thank you! Yes it's free, they have a paid version but that is optional, you can still do a lot with the free version.
I love it, great job
Thank you! 😊
Massive improvement. Well done.
Thank you! 🤩
Loved this! Also, I plan on doing a lot of work with bottles and things that have better use than rotting in a landfill. 😂😂 New sub. 😊

I love it. Great job.❤
Thank you!
This looks awesome. Thanks for sharing! What software did you use to plan/sketch up and it is free?
Thank you. I use SketchUp pro
I think this is awesome BUT it was strange to see a traditional brick home with such a modern landscape. Seemed like they didnt match.
That brick needs to go. I'm working on the house slowly. Too many things that still need to be done.
I am doing modern landscaping with a brick house. I am in the process now of painting my brick grey with white trim.
What are you planning on doing with your brick? Are you going to paint it like I am?
Hi! No, I'm covering with stucco and some modern paneling on some specific walls. A little of a very drastic change. 😅
Looks so modern and clean! Bravo! I am currently transforming my landscape as well and it is TIME CONSUMING!! And, choosing plants is definitely a research project! My “FULL SUN” plants are not full sun in this horrible, SCORCHING ☀️🥵🔥 heat! They are dying……😭
Thank you! Plant are always a challenging ,I'm not a fan of it.
I enjoyed that video, Thank you for sharing. Simple but elegant.
Thank you!!!
I'd like to see a view from the street. I think it was too close up.
Will include it in a future video. Thanks 😊
I am doing my front house yard and I will get ur ideas. Just will be with Captus plants.❤is ver, very nice
I love captus plants! It will look so good, I can't do those because of the weather here, but if you can go for it 🤩
Is just perfect. I am a woman and I am not into flowers. So, this plants are perfect. Lights are fabulous 😍 Good 👍 Job.
Thank you! 😊
beautiful mid-century look to the landscaping that goes great with the house style, very clean and minimal, the lighting at night looks great!
Thank you very much! =]
My god??? Is there anything you can’t do? Just watched you landscape video and thought you were a professional landscaper. Now this!!! Wtf??? How do you know how to go all of this? And.. such professional video work. You do ALL of this alone??? Amazing!!! I dream of having my own TH-cam channel but don’t have any video knowledge… also, I don’t have your charisma and good looks. Great job!!
Aw that's so sweet thank you! Yes I do all by myself, reason why it takes me forever every video. Not a career just a hobby. And you can learn easy if you enjoy it 😊 thanks for watching.
Wow. You’re amazing. Did you do all of it yourself? Amazing!!!
Thank you!!! Yes, it took me a while to finish it by myself.
@@DesigningWithTony also, great video work. Are you a professional landscaper and videographer? You did ALL that yourself??? So talented
None of them, it's just s hobby 😊 thank you!
Love your design, Tony. I am working slowly to transform my landscape (I'm 75 year old female, so I have to go slow). Been trying to figure out the most maintenance-free design and you just nailed it for me. I subscribed! Thanks!
Happy to hear this was helpful! Take your time, these projects take forever anyways when you don't yourself. Thank you! 😊
You have some great English man
Thank you! Still learning 😊
Amazing job and way to visualize your landscaping by utilizing a software.
Thank you!! ☺️
Loved all the vase pots, the color, size and using green plants; the night lights were so pretty adding fun and brightness. 👍
Thanks so much 😊
Absolutely beautiful job! Love it. Nice work.
Thank you very much!😀
Flower choice needs a women's touch.
Which landscaping program are you using? btw, your project came out fantastic!
Thank you! I use SketchUp
Hello, you haven’t filmed any new content or at least shown us here….. I hope you’re okay! I was all looking forward to more.
Thank you!! Yes working on another video at the moment, takes me too much time 😑
Hi again! What size are the Mexican pepples you were going to buy ?
I didn't. They are super expensive I didn't even get to check out the sizes
@@DesigningWithTony oh ok. Thanks. Couldn’t finish the job my sleep since I have clay dirt. Very hard to dig. Had to hire someone. The job will be done tomorrow but thank you so much for all your help.
No problem. 😊
oh pebbles !! i thought he was planning on buying Mexican people
Very nice. What the color code for the red front door?
Thank you! And I don't know can't find the paint can. It's been a while since I painted it
Hi again, how many ft did you do from the hosue to the brick where you put the custard of the mixed style planters ?
It varies depending on the side of the house, but it was either 3 or 4 ft away from the wall, I just followed the already existing flower beds I removed. Only on the front of the house is 6 ft because I needed more space for the focal point pots.
@@DesigningWithTony perfect thank you so much. Thats exactly what I needed to know. So grateful for all your help. Have a beautiful day!
Hi. All ones abke to do today was the measuring and putting in the sticks with stuff. That took me so long all by myself. Omg! Well that’s down. Now to order the rocks. How many inches in height did you order ? Approximately how many tons sis you have to get ? Ordering them tomorrow Thanks again for all your tips and your prompt replies.
For the amount of rocks, ask the person who is selling you the rocks, just tell them the area you want to cover in ft square. They know this things and it varies by the type of rock you get.
@@DesigningWithTony wonderful thank you!
Also how many inches did you dig to put the bricks in? I’m so scared but I’m going to do it tomorrow. Hopefully you reply today. lol!
Not that much. Just enough to pour the concrete and have the brick as close to the ground. But if I have to pick a number I'd say something around 3 inches. And good luck! The leveling is what takes some time. Walk back a few steps and check how it looks and adjust as desired before watering the concrete.
The modern stones you got are onyx black. I’m new at this. Not sure but did the concrete dry the same color of the stone. If so what color did you use? You make it seem so easy. I’m so scared to mess it up you the concrete part. Helpp!
The concrete dry is close to a sand color. You won't see it, don't worry about the color, on one side the rocks with the weed barrier covers it. And on the other side grass covers it. On the side of the grass push it up towards the brick, and remove some of I if it's too much. You don't need to much generally speaking. Just enough to level the brick and hold a little on the sides. Eventually if one brick gets loose you can always add more to that one specifically.
Thank you sooooo much for teplyimg and all the tips. Helped a lot! Fingers crossed. 🤞
