Hi TH-cam,
In this video I'm building the Dora Wings 1/48 Morane Saulnier MS.230 DW48037. I will be using mainly Scale Modellers Supply, Mr Hobby, Tamiya, VMS, Ammo by Mig, Metal Foil and Abtielung 502 products.

I have not been paid by any of the companies mentioned to promote their products. All products have been paid for by me personally and promotion is for information purposes. However I am a hobby shop owner and I do sell most of the products mentioned to the public.
If you are down in the South West UK, you are always very welcome to come in and see me at the shop. scalemodelshed.co.uk/visit-us/
I hope you enjoy the video.
Happy modelling
Andy

Im happy you did this kit. My giant hands and shakiness puts me out of getting one. Beautiful job.
Beautiful work. With each video you teach me something new to try on my models
Just brilliantly executed. It’s the first time I have seen a tutorial on how to apply the Bare Metal Foil.
Fabulous! Always loved the Parasols. Many thanx for the vid 👍👍
Awwwwww yiss I love it when you upload
That seems on the surface like a benign little kit, but there is loads of model building packed into it. I've got to try the foil method...that looked brilliant.
Great to see your brilliant modelling skills, very inspiring Andy, thanks 👍👏
What a cool kit! Very nice build 💥👍💥
Super new one Andy !... congrats. And thanks for sharing the apply of the Bare Metal Foil.
YAY! It's not another P51 or 109 or F16! Excellent.
Now that was awesome to watch..your skill and knowledge is something many of us would dream to own
An absolute wait Andy. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen the type built in any scale before. Keep em coming mate and I’ll keep buying from the shop 😂
There is an old Heller 1/72 model
Dora Wings makes some great lesser-known aircraft! Especially fond of their golden age civilian offerings
Just beautiful, so authentic
I have to say that what you did was interesting and educational. I loved that way that it looked when you were done! ❤
Exquisite......yep, I think that just about covers it! 👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻
Absolutely fantastic build , love the BMF and the technique you use , always eagerly await you builds 🙏👍
Nice job, Andy! You did a great job with the real metal foil. I ALWAYS learn something from your videos.
It's beautiful I'm so excited everytime you upload I gotta wait a long time but thankfully I have other channels to fill that gap 😊
Lovely to watch.I didn't know this kit existed, only the Heller 1/72 from the sixties.
Love these inter war aircraft.
I must order that VMS varnish.
Cheers .
Great looking Build!!!!! Nicely Done!!!! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for another enjoyable video Andy. Great work with all those complicated struts.
Peter.
Beautiful build!!
It's a very inspiring movie. Well done
Fantastic build . Thoroughly enjoyed .
What a great result!
I really enjoyed this build. Something different. Not another F4, Mustang, or Spitfire.
There are so many aircraft from the 1920s and 1930s waiting to be modelled.
I have this kit in my stash! Great job you did of yours! 👏
Brilliant as ever Andy👍😎
That was another great watch Andy. I really enjoy seeing the whole build. There’s always some good tips to pick up. It’s also handy to watch your vids with the scale model shed website open to add all the cool products to the shopping cart!! 😂 it’s great trying out new stuff. The foil was a really nice touch. I’ve not seen that before. Excellent work as always.
Next level absolutely amazing build 👏👏👏
Awesome build!
That is a stunning build, it looks really good. I have seen that foil but never been brave enough to try it myself although I do like the True Metal. If you put that on and leave it for a few hours it does buff up to quite a good shine. I have done quite a few models with no weathering, imagining them as museum models like those American warbirds polished within and inch of their lives.
Nice Build!👍
Looks amazing great job on the details.
A very nice build, Andy...the Moraine Saulnier is one of my favorite aircraft from the era (Newport 17, Sopwith Camel and Jennies are also favorites of mine)...I particularly like the way you incorporated Bare Metal Foil, copper paint, copper buff and various paints (eg., sepia) for realistic effects...very professional results...keep up the good work and keep those antiques coming...thank you, sir!
Awesome modelling skills. Nice model kit
Wow…top notch!
Great build.
Very nice job😊
Amazing build, I'll have to check out the Dora range
I love the aircraft.. nice model
Nice job Andy? I’m sure you’ve heard and seen other modelers use black CA for seams. I have to admit, it really can be a time saver! It might help you with getting rid of those seams easier next build. Thanks for sharing your build!👍🏾
Nice build, never tried bare metal foil but does seem to give a great looking NM finish with some care!
Not my choice of kit/subject but a stunning result. Looking forward to seeing your next build
Hi Andy, that is a absolute stunner of a build, it's not a aircraft I know anything about, all your work was perfect, my only issue I watched, was when you we re drilling out the exhaust, I thought if you slipped when drilling, it may have been a bit of a disaster, I tend to use hand a held pin vice, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Very nice
Always love watching and listening to these films. Just amazed at how much detail you put into finishing these kits. Would like to see more vintage cars like the Type 35 Bugatti you did a while back. The modelling world seems saturated with war planes for some reason?
Another work of art mate,so clever,I personally wouldn’t have the skill, clue or patience to do anything like that nevertheless I enjoy seeing how it’s done etc
Lovely build, that. :)
Skills mate 😉👌
Very beautiful and informative video ! After my experience with the 1/72 Lysander with this brand, I understood that it was not for me.
Looks like this kit has no locating pins, is that correct? Looks challenging without those, not for an expert like you of course, but the rest of us lol. Great looking model
Some great skills there,i hope its appreciated by many, not my thing, but if i can learn something, fantastic.
What is that opaque tape your using please, cheers 🇬🇧👍
Beautiful ❤ for the uninitiated ie me what’s a ghost seem ?
Very nice, I love ww1 and pre war French planes. Building them is not for the faint hearted. Did you see the Copperstate Models Nieuports?
