@@somacruz7759 Hideyoshi toyotomi said “yukimura is the #1 samurai in japan” it makes sense, only other samurai i could put on the cover is the unstoppable tadakatsu honda, over 67 battles without a single injury
Yukimura Sanada was actually born 3 years AFTER the fifth and last battle of Kawanakajima, and thus did not actually participate in this battle. Nor in the battle of Nagashino for that matter. As for Kunoichi, she is a fictional character, probabably very loosely based on Sanada's 10 ninjas (none were actually female, and the name Kunoichi literally means female ninja).
This music is like the moment when someone knocks on your door while you're getting changed and you sprint across the room to close the door quickly XD
Kenshin Uesugi was the very first character I used back in SW1 and so this OST is such classic and sounded so different compared to what I was playing mostly back then the DW3 and DW4 with rock songs. SW1 had this kind of vibe sound like it was in Japans feudal era.
This one really reminds me of how much stress that game gives you, *bawooooo bawoooooooo!!! DO THIS NOW!* Only for another scary horn notification 10 seconds later.
This be the coolest battle for me in the game... of course, Uesugi Kenshin is my favorite character. The game executed the real battle so well and made it look better.
Mitsuhide Akechi was a scheming, opportunistic traitor with no loyalties to anyone but himself. Look how many times he changed sides, from the Asakura to the Saito to the Oda, then rebelling against the Oda.
Okuni Tale Dance in Kawanakajima-Okuni ends up ending up in the Battle between Takeda and Uesugi... where she has to Stop both forces For them to see her Beautiful dance
lol, u guys ever play shingen takeda in samurai warriors 2? lmao, i use his special moves to boost his speed, then i go and pick up a x2 speed on the ground, i'm practically a blur running around on the battlefield, my bro playin with me on splitscreen is like "wtf was that??!"
Ehhhhh, no, SW2 did have better upgrading mechanics and also went all the way through the Sengoku right up to Ieasyu's victory. The music though, yes, 1's was far better.
SW1's Kawanakajima theme is far better than that of SW2. This one just has more depth in sound, it puts me in a better mood to fight a fast paced epic battle.
@@datalt7873 It's more of an insignia character, chosing a protagonist from a conflict that spawned many lifetimes can hardly have a protagonist. They just chose a character whose background they think will be more apt to recieve an "anime protag look".
I remember playing this game like 15 years ago and this song always got stuck in my head.
Same here
It's gotta be the war drums in the beginning 🔥🔥🔥
All this song reminds me of is waiting for the ai controlled Yukimura to get down the hill
I never understood why Yukimura is the main protagonist of this series.
Chaos Sorcerer I slayed many foes that day with my Heaven-sent crescent spear
@@somacruz7759 Yukimura is one of the most fearsome warrior in that era
@@maizen1403 I know that now. I did research.

Nobunaga Oda Screw you Nobunaga! Mitsuhide owned you!!
His Father did though .
Shes based on the Takedas ninjas
One is said to be female actually.
She's also based on Takeda ninjas, many of whom are women.
kenshin actually wept over shingen's death from illness for he has lost a very worthy opponent/nemisis
"Great Bishamonten, God of War."

"Grant me the power to strike down my foe!"
this song to me has always been “welcome to samurai warriors”
I think it's safe to say that the themes in the initial SW games are far better than the newer ones.
Honnoji's theme from SW4 is really good.
He had his reasons. What they were is still debated by historians even to this day.
"Come, Nemesis."
This music is so epic and keep my blood pumping!!!
it gives me the feel to fight until the very end lol
Flames of Hell! Vanquish the Wicked!
Omg I still have this game it's still coo asf
This music is like the moment when someone knocks on your door while you're getting changed and you sprint across the room to close the door quickly XD
Man, who the frick are the composers that Tecmo Koei kept hiring? They keep making bangers after bangers of soundtrack in their games
MASA. He's left now.
This track was made by Yasuhiro Misawa, who iirc still works with Koei Tecmo

The SW2 version of it is in one of the DLC Stage Packs.

He's the one that shows the most resolve and growth as a warrior.
epic theme. whats more epic is that takeda and kenshin went at it like 5 times

Yeah, this screams that Mitsuhide has no true sense of loyalty, and that he must be put down like a treasonous dog.
@@rickynguyen5108 Well, both in game and historically, that's exactly what happened to him. His legacy was pitiful compared to Nobunaga.

God, so many nights on my Ps2 farming levels for Yukimura.
Whenever I hear this, I also intermittently hear in my head:
"...Difficult opponent!!!" 😂😂😂😂
God, this song is my favorite in the original Samurai Warriors. Its both serious yet disco like. :3
I was more disappointed that the stage didn't exist in WO3 >o

good times grinding out this level thinking "WOW WE CAN DO THIS OVER FOR LEVELS, THIS GAMES THE BEST!!"
gotta love that percussion.
The Tiger n Dragon against The Serpent King.
Listening to this again, this is a fucking great track.
Kenshin, I will not let you get away.
The song of Yukimura !! Thank you
This theme would actually be good to play at a rave.
2 kids fighting in the ball pit at Chuck e cheese

Agreed. And it sounds a bit creepier when compared to SW2's version.
this is our 5th showdown~
This theme reminds me of playing as Kunoichi against Kenshin.
best ost
i was disapointed that this tune wasnt on WO3 :(
謙信「我らは神速をもって八幡原を制す」
awesome
It is Shingen that won by this war. This is because Shingen were able to follow this territory.
This needs a CPS1 remix.
オン・ベイシラマナヤ・ソワカ
this is better then the kawanakajima in the second game, same with nagashino they kinda screwed um up in the second game
iN SW2E i THiNK THiS SUitES THE THREE NiNJAS
Not Okuni's voice.
historically, yukimura is considered what americans call "a beast" in japanese history
Personally I think Mitsuhide was better :/
Why Yukimura is the series' main protagonist, I'll never understand.
CrucibleOfFlame I still don't understand it
Same reason why Zhao Yun is the main protagonist in Dynasty Warriors.
