There's something about that battle on SW1 with that OST - the low-key constant beats in the background as Shingen gradually realises and laments the deaths of his officers in the night... one of the most effective tracks in the series. SW2 is just a full on cavalry charge blood rush .
@@RandomCollection04 yeah but they called it 'joint struggle with the uesugi' instead. Koei decided to bs Mitsuhide and pals into the battle just to have it in the game
@@ryhankhanage Ah, i see. Perhaps because this is the early days of Shingen and Kenshin's rivalry in Kawanakajima, the stage might not be suited for its own unique theme yet?
As good as SW 2's is, the shamisen portions don't seem to blend as well as SW 1's. Doesn't take much away though, the slightly cheesy ninja-movie tone still slaps.
SW5's taken things in the right track but ultimately took too much away to be worth it. It needs a sequel or expansion to be fairly judged among the others
Glad I'm not alone. Koei put their heart and soul into SW1 and SW1XL. The music, characters, abilities, secrets, stages, atmosphere could never be topped. Still sad they sold their soul to Tecmo.
Shit i love the Uesugi Shattered Sky. I wont say any more, or less, than i love the first/second. But, in a totally different way. Its just the perfect "pace yourself" rhythm. I think it perfectly matches Kenshin strategic mind and warfare. There was no reason why the best strategist in Samurai Warriors, was also one BEAST strong character especially for part 1 he was on par with Keiji strength wise.

Iconic battle and fourth showdown between the tiger of Kai and the dragon of Echigo (Shingen Takeda vs Kenshin Uesugi).
Kenshin:Nemesis. You made it.
Shingen:Did I? Well I’ll be.
They're all great, but Shattered Sky Takeda version is my favourite.
ICONIC! The SW1 and SW2 versions are great as well as shattered sky. Sucks that SW5 didn't get a unique kawanakajima theme though
I forgot, was Kawanakajima in 5?

I Love Kawanakajima Theme🖤 Shingen And Keshin..
You're too late, Nemesis. Say farewell to your main camp.

SW1 is the best of the original track mixes. as for Shattered Sky, I gotta go with the Uesugi version for me.
SW2 version rocks
No shock that SW 1's version was the best. Series is best forgotten after the first two games given how badly they stripped features later.

SW1 had the besttt music. No clue why after that from SW2 the gameplay and music is plastic and so cartoonish. SW1 the best samurai warrior game

@@jamesstafford2110 yeah but his moveset was awful compared to Keiji. He was very slow and stiff.
