When I was a kid at a USHL game, after warm up a player from the Omaha Lancers (our biggest rivals at the time) threw over a puck for me and one for my sister. Changed how I thought about the away team after that. That puck is still my favourite in my collection.
That dude had -10 situational awareness. Surrounded by little kids and keeps it... doesn't even give it to his girl. I don't even know what he was thinking
That freaking NERD who caught the puck meant for the kid made my Blood Boil!...After Holtby gave him that "Death Stare", he still refuses to give up the puck meant for the kid.
As a Mancunian born into football having to suffer the out-of-touch narcissists that plague other corners of the sporting world, it's always heartening to see that hockey still produces fine, fine young men.
Fleury has always been pretty generous over his career. I have more respect for players like him. Was always a dream to get a fly ball as a kid got one from the umpire after the game. Made my day so it’s cool seeing these kids dreams come true.
I went to my first hockey game with my kids last year. We saw the Jacksonville Icemen of the ECHL and my daughter was handed a broken stick by the mascot. Not only did that make her night but mine as well. Hockey players and mascots for that matter really know that it's about the fans and especially the kids. I can't wait to take them to our first NHL game. That's what separates hockey from all the other sports
To the people over the age of 18 If a player throws a puck And you have a person under the age of 18 infront beside or behind you And you grab it and keep it...You are everything that is wrong with the world..#stolenchildhoodmemories
I guess I’m good…I caught a puck when I was 12. (It’s ok to keep it if the player looked at you though no matter what your age..although 90% of the time they don’t give it to 18+)
The EJ "A trade is a trade" for his sister, is PRICELESS !!🤣😂🤣😂
Burst out laughing. What a gem.
Yeah I agree 😂😂😂
E trade
😂😂😂 I loved that
Holtbys stare at that older kid for taking the puck 😳
HOLTBY gave the death stare
Seriously, what kind of asshole takes a puck from a kid and proudly displays it?
Holtby wasn’t havin any of it
I think Holtby later went back and gave the kids another puck
Lol right? He was like, dude.. that was for the kids, cmon man 😑
i thought the dude would give the hint and give the puck to one of the kids but he didn’t, ass move LMAO
The players who give a puck or stick to their young fans, make such a difference in those kids lives. Thanks so much. Warms my heart
mmh

Well said
People don't realize that one stick can cost 200 bucks or MORE because they are all custom made for each player.
Well hey are a;ready rink side so they are probably already from wealthy families. No better way to instill a sense of entitlement.
LOL** HOLTBY GIVING THAT STARE WHEN THE OTHER KID TOOK THE PUCK HAHAHA**
That dude had -10 situational awareness. Surrounded by little kids and keeps it... doesn't even give it to his girl. I don't even know what he was thinking
Fleury giving away the other team's stick, I can't 😂
Aww, that little girl with Zadorov. Made her year for sure
Crazy she knows how special that is
Her sign said it was her first game ..... she'll be an NHL fan forever !!!
Holtby was not amused
1:57 That death stare gets me every time 🤣
I was touched by the reaction of a little girl when Nikita Zadorov gave her a hockey stick.
Man, that Holtby death stare was colder than the ice and you couldn't even see his face lmao
Angriest I've ever seen Holtz.
Guy was a D bag I don’t blame him
That freaking NERD who caught the puck meant for the kid made my Blood Boil!...After Holtby gave him that "Death Stare", he still refuses to give up the puck meant for the kid.
love how holtby just starred the guy down lol

Manchester have a half decent hockey team you know. Manchester storm uk hockey is the same for fan interaction etc :)
I actually cried during most of this. Beautiful moments.
I cried laughing at the kid who wanted to trade his sister lmao
4:27 brought tears to my eyes
Smiles are priceless, the NHL is the home of some of the most caring athletes in all of sports
Keep em coming! Alwats heartwarming :) purest of happiness on those kids faces
The kid that skipped chemo to be at the game broke me...
Ye
Moved
Probably just moved it to the next day
Fleury has always been pretty generous over his career. I have more respect for players like him. Was always a dream to get a fly ball as a kid got one from the umpire after the game. Made my day so it’s cool seeing these kids dreams come true.
3:30 I hope the kid is ok by now
who went straight to the comments?
me xd
Bro those kids who cry when they get something by the players just melts my damn heart 😭
This is proof that hockey is the best sport
That’s one of my favorite part of hockey is how close you can get to the players and have them interact with you.
1:14 Did they only have 2 C's left at home depot when that kid made the sign or do they just not teach them how to spell in Boston?
The S’s stand for “see you next season”
The kid probably knows the 'c' in scissors is silent, maybe he figures it's invisible too.
out of the whole video that what your focused on?
I’m nowhere near an Avalanche fan but @4:15 is pretty awesome
Sorry bout your injury Ej, we miss u, Thanks!
It's amazing the glee on their faces. It's like they're handling the hammer or Thor
When you give a jester to a little kid and they cry because there so happy, gotta make you feel pretty good
The kid who moved chemo made me fucking bawl crying. 😭
As a diehard bruins fan, Coyle is such a nice guy 🤝❤️. I’m forgetting that actually all the bruins players are nice 😊
"EJ Cambiaré a mi hermana por un palo"
"EJ un trato es un trato" 😂
A TRADE IS A TRADE ➡️
You can't buy this kind of goodwill. These kids will be fans for that team for the rest of their lives.
I had this experience twice in darts with Wez Newton and Mark McGeeney giving me there darts
Teams should have drawing for a fan having dinner with their favorite player before games

Love the rock paper scissors
Most of the video I was like aweee until the 2nd to last clip
I'm a hockey fan now after watching this video
every kid should go to at least one hockey game in their life!
I wish I was a kid so I could get one
Holtby wanted to kill that guy.
Who would've thought that a game of rock paper scissors can get you a puck
How do those kids get those tickets? Mom and dad must be rich. I can’t afford cheap seats. But I still love my hockey!
It's close, on who has the best relationships with fans, hockey or baseball. I'd say it's pretty close.
A trade is a trade....
2:27 He was wearing a gator before they were popular.
The first clip was hilarious
Hello from Czech republic
0:57 - song anyone?
“Tsunami” by DVBBS
part 7
This is why the NHL is THE BEST pro league! Period!
The caps with chemo keep fighting and those guys on caps were great go caps
That would be cool of he could keep up that tradition if there kids had kids.
I love the burins

Rock paper scissors for a puck....
The fans with the rock paper scissors needs spelling lessons
the whole video and that’s what your focused on?
4:30 Wow.
Holtby should have waded in there, that was some bullshit
Poor Burns XD
😊❤
Sticks are being giving away...
yeah… why?
Hockey players are the best
Its sad that professional athletes have such an impact on peoples lives and they ruin it with the political bullshit they are doing now.
@Mark Olson unfortunately some are starting to kneel and bring the political bs to the NHL
Just like you tried to with this comments section.
