    Another great video! It is nice to see the Sport doing so well. Kudos to him for even trying. 👍

    Nicholas and Rachelle completely rocked the trails and we were so glad they made the trip out with us🎉

    Just FYI from a local and Easter Jeep Safari trail leader, there is no such thing as the "Trifecta". It's become a social media name. The linking of Poison Spider and Gold Bar Rim is called the Golden Spike Trail. Nice Video.

    I met a great bunch of people out there on poison spider 2 weeks ago I was in my two-door Rubicon on 33s they offered to help me out if I wanted to do the trifecta winching etc but the other people I was with wanted to call it quits for the day but I'll be back for that trail next year when I am on 35 is with the Mopar 2.5 lift

    Hi, I’m new to the channel! I was wondering what year your Jeep was and how many miles you have. I just bought my second Rubicon a 2024 extreme recon package. I love it!

    • @TrailTraveler
      @TrailTraveler  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is a 2018 JL Unlimited Rubicon. We have 97,000 miles on on it right now.

      @@TrailTraveler Nice! Love your videos…they are very helpful when planning a trail ride!
      I know there are some difference’s in our Jeeps over the years but do you have any failure points or mechanical issues to try and prevent or watch for?

    • @TrailTraveler
      @TrailTraveler  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Pretty much normal stuff. Alternator, broken some diff gears off-roading, the factory locker sensor (happens to all of them), harmonic balancer at 95,000miles, nothing really unexpected

    Awesome video and awesome trails! Seems like I'd have to build up a bit before I try this, though. I have a '21 Willys 2 door, 2.5" lift on 33's. No lockers, just a limited slip. I'm thinking I don't have enough tire or lift to do it. What do YOU think?

    • @TrailTraveler
      @TrailTraveler  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would suggest bigger tires or complete skid plates. The Limited Slip might be ok.

      @@TrailTraveler thank you! It's what I figured. Those obstacles, while looking like they'd be really fun, would be a bit much for my current set-up.

      I think a 2-door and 33's us as capable as a JLU on 35's... but I do not think your rear bumper would like you. Nick's bumper took some hits and survived the trip... but he is on 35's and he needed every inch in a few places!

    Great informative video. Did Phil have the 1tons done by a shop or did he install them?

    Need an update on your Jeep. Axles, suspension and suspension mods. Axle mods? What gear ratio?

    • @TrailTraveler
      @TrailTraveler  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Stock D44 axles, Nitto 38" Trail Grabblers, RCV axle shafts on front, Yukon Chromolly axles shafts on rear, Yukkon 5.13 gear ratio. Metalcloak suspension on 3.5" JKS dual rate springs, Fox 2.5 shocks.

      Nick's Sport is on 35" KO2's, running my old (stock 392) springs, has a set of quick disconnect end links, and some takeoff Rubicon sliders. He and Rochelle completely rocked the trails and think he could have made it through everything if he had a rear locker.

    You travel some incredible trails, for sure. It also seems that you have more trouble on your travels than just about any other off-roader I know or watch.

    • @TrailTraveler
      @TrailTraveler  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you out in as many trail miles as we do, things happen. We also probably point it out more than most because we want it to be realistic.
