I had my first shoulder injection right before I got out of the Army in 1988. After what seemed like months, the pain was gone. I never had any problem until March 2024. I did about five months of physical therapy with no results. I received my second injection a few days ago. today is my 70th birthday and I am hoping this helps. In the meantime I will be keeping an eye open for your videos.
Just diagnosed with bone to bone shoulder joint. Doctor says I need a shoulder replacement. Not doing it. Considered cortisone shots if the pain gets worse but probably not doing that after seeing this. Maybe stem cell regeneration is a possibility down the road.
Get shots in both shoulders for about 3 yrs rvery 6 months went through a botched surgery and do mot want to do the rehab at 75 need both shoulders replaced but rehab is extremely difficult
My shoulder I just got my Cortizone shot about me four hours ago and my shoulder from the anesthetic is numb but my shoulder still feels loose. The joint feels loose.

Hubby had RC surgery last year; to say the least before the surgery he was a mess of pain. He's fine now but he did a few months ago went back to his doctor complaining of pain the the shoulder he had RC surgery. He got a cortisone shot, and he feels better. He doesn't plan on anymore shots so perhaps that's all he needed. He's healthy otherwise and doesn't do the work he use to that probably caused the problem.

I was injured at work a few months back and finally just diagnosed with tendonosis if 3 of the 6 tendons in the shoulder and arthritis (early stages or something like that). Dr wants to inject me but I’m hesitant. Would it be beneficial to have less inflammation and pain with the shot and focus heavily on PT during that 3 month timeframe or just sticking with the PT and hoping for the best? I feel like you would be able to get more accomplished with the PT if you don’t have pain and inflammation in that joint, but I’m not a doctor.

So what is the next best treatment other than cortisone cocktail for my wore out right shoulder joint. No cartilage.
