The funniest thing about Popo is that in the original show he is pretty much the sweetest gentlest guy in the whole series like he wouldn't hurt a goddam fly.
Nah, I think he´s actually chosen to be a peaceful guy because of how strong he is. In the original series Popo was actually able to contain both Goten and Trunks while they were Super Sayains. Yep, that technically makes Popo stronger than Freeza. So, a DB character was stronger than some of the greatest threats of DBZ. That's why he chose to be a responsible user of his power and resorted to pacifism, otherwise anyone he fought would be like fighting a helpless child. AT least, that's my take on it.

Popo' s abilities in the original show are actually that he copies the power level and abilities of his opponent, he serves as a sparing partner.

Did anyone get a good look at the headlines in the news they were watching? The first one was "Anthropomorphic Pig arrested in panty raid" (Guess we know what Oolong's doing during the week!) And the other was "Mt Paozu Tuna officially declared extinct" (guess Goku and Gohan will have to find a new fishing spot!).

I’m curious about this: When Cell said Piccolo was in there for 3 days...he was in there for the equivalent of 3 years? Alone? Good god man!
I think he meant that Piccolo had only experienced three days worth of time in the chamber, so only like a minute or two in real time. If he had actually been in there alone for three years, I'm pretty sure that if he was even alive by the end of it, his mind would be destroyed, considering he was already hallucinating after just three days.
The breakdowns are cool, but it's just the editor showing some of his editing techniques he used to put together the abridged episode they're talking about and comparing it to the original. It may not be that great to react to but you can check it out for yourself and see.
Goku was channeling his voice actor and/or the fanbase during that interaction with Perfect Cell. Seriously, _every_ fan of DBZ wants to tap that.

The sweat thing is a anime trope, it denotes confusion, exasperation, second hand embarrassment or in the way its usually being used on piccolo, nervousness/anxiety over the situation, but some of the context is lost because this is a edited mash up of scenes and dialogue. If that makes sense.

I remember going on this DBZA journey with Curtis and then him moving onto Naruto and other anime... seven fucking years ago. Holy shit. Seven. Fucking. Seven. Fucking. Years ago.
Abridged is great, because in the actual series not only is POPO shown as strong enough to defend himself against goten ssj and Trunks ssj, but also he's the one who taught goku how to even use ki assisted super speeded movement, and how to sense where someone is by sensing their ki, even when it's hidden.
So clearly he's powerful. In canon I believe he's bound to the tower, and also unable to actually attack people, he's a magical being. Magic in dragonball is very powerful.
TFS and LittleKuriboh are friends. They also have guest appearances in each others shows like LittleKuriboh voices 2nd form Frieza as well as the narrator

In the original version, the dog was called Koku-Ō which means King in Japanese. In English he was called King Furry, probably to match the lip flaps more than anything. This was also before the Furry community became prominent and I doubt that this was a reference but instead a pun on how dogs have fur.

By doing the math Piccolo, Nail and Kami were in the Chamber for just over 10 minutes of real world time. Also, how did Kami not know this room existed.
Nope, by 3 days they mean 3 years. In the original series it was stated that a person can only stay in there for 48 hours so TFS made a joke about Piccolo going crazy for staying in there longer than 48 hours.
FlameRedAO No, One day in the real world equates to a year inside the chamber. Time is relative to individuals, so when Kami asks how long it's been, for himself, Nai and Piccolo it has been three days. Which equates to roughly 11 minutes in the real world. If you still don't believe me, do you really think Vegeta would wait three days for literally anything that didn't physically require longer than three days to do.

They changed Popo to dark purple so you can do that version of him.
The Breakdown videos give you some insight on what's going on behind the scenes while editing and publishing the episodes, showing how they achieved some of the effects and added scenes that weren't in the original non-abridged series. They are fun and interesting to watch if you're interested in that side of the show.

Abridged Popo is strongest there is.
I kinda like post-Piccolo Fusion Popo more than in the earlier episodes. At first he was just the creepy perv (and a potential rapist) when Kami was around, but after Fusion it's evident he misses Kami. He's much more mellow, but still keeping his overpoweredness.
