Our AI program for Dairy and Beef

We use AI (artificial insemination) in both our dairy and beef herds. It's a tool for us to improve the genetics of our herds, and in the case of dairy, increase safety by not having a bull. Watch along as we explain these reasons in more detail and discuss what we do for heifers vs cows. Video 20.

Thanks for that ,your system is very efficient what conception rate do ye get to first service . Our system is different in that we spring calve to grass this year we used a lot of Persus and yamaska sexed semen and mop up with stock bulls

Probably my top pick would be Lautrust. His heifers so far definitely stand out in the pen. Chariot has been a good, high fertility bull that we like as well.
