They actually tore down the house and turned it into a memorial garden site. I grew up & lived in Cheshire CT where this crime took place and lived in town when this happened, they only lived right up the road from where I lived. It was CRAZY once authorities became involved. Now every year on the anniversary paper bag lanterns are placed down the roads in honor🙏🏼❤️ last I knew they were making the property where the house stood a memorial however idk if that is still true today.
Living so close to the house must have been so intense! The annual paper bag lantern tradition sounds like a heartfelt way for the community to come together in remembrance. ❤ Thank you for sharing! I think it would be amazing if they made a memorial in the place.
