Found your channel recently. You make quite an enjoyable review honestly. Keep the work up🔥 Interestingly enough, my waner's QDC connection broke to a point where it rendered them unusable. I approached Tangzu about it, and unsurprisingly they've been very unhelpful. I mean hey who am I kidding, it's a 20 dollar IEM. I may as well purchase another one, though I fear I might experience this again. It would've been a "you get what you paid for" moment if it wasn't for the fact that I own older IEM's of the same budget that have lasted me years and still going strong. It reminds me of what Hi-Fri said about it, that Tangzu should've spent the R&D money on a more durable build rather than packaging since a lot of people typically toss it away the moment they've unboxed the IEM, creating unnecessary waste. All things considered, it's still a pretty dang good IEM. Hoping they actually improve upon it for wan'er 2(if there ever will be one)
Thank you for the kind words. And yes! I have seen a LOT of photos of Wan’Ers broken at the connector. I don’t know if the internal reinforcement is bad or if the resin isn’t impact resistant, but I feel like this is a common enough issue they should address it in the next revision.
Oh for sure, I think the gate has one of the best cables in the sub $20 space. I missed the boat on the Hola, by the time I went looking for one it was sold out. And I don’t wanna pay collectors item pricing for one at this point
This set has less bass and a little more treble energy than the BL-03. It depends on what you consider fun. If you want an upgraded version of the BL-03 at this price range, look into the QKZxHBB. This set isn't fatiguing to me, but if you find the BL-03 fatiguing, then this will be as well.

The part which you explained about its Treble is probably what makes me not favoring this set all these times. i was not able to understand the hype. As you suggested, i listened to Gekka on TH-cam Music on 152kbps OPUS file via MOONDROP Dawn Pro on my Windows 7 computer. Now i can understand the pleasing aspect of the SG better. Anyway, just now i probably found a way to rectify the Treble issue on the set.. .. it is by using a DAC which uses ALC5686 chip.
Thanks for giving the song a shot! I agree with you on the top end, it’s not my favorite. I’ll try and find a DAC with that chip and see if it helps the treble presentation.

It depends on if you want deeper, bassier vocals, or something more upper-range. Freddie Mercury and DeAngelo are quite different. You’ll miss some top end detail compared to the Chu, but the extra sparkle on the vocals will make up for it
@@AudioAmigoReviews Thank you for answer

Got my wan'er for few days
Its Amazing!! 😍
Sound is so much better in every aspect.
Used with poco f4 gt(good integrated audio), and ibasso dc 05
@@void8658 can i go for tangzuwaner??.
I absolutely love the full sounding vocals on the wan er especially for kpop and jpop genres, can you recommend me an upgrade under 150$ with similar sounding vocals, would be appreciated 👍
@@Neg-h8k if you’re ok with losing some mid-bass, The Truthear Nova is probably the closest match for the way the Wan’Er does female vocals. It’s been going on sale lately. See if you can snag it for around $120. MSRP is $150.
confused what should i go for this one or studio edition one ? if anybody tasted both please share if there is any noticeable improvement in technicality or sound stage or not ?
Sound stage is the same. No real changes. As far as technicalities go, they’re the same except for the studio is more technical in the treble and top end.
If your library has mostly female singers, go with the regular Wan’Er. If you only have a small percentage of female vocalists, the Wan’Er studio is a slightly better all-rounder.
@@AudioAmigoReviews hey thanks ❤
btw i also use them for movies sometime... so may i good to go ?
@@Can_You_Hear_Me yeah! They’re both great for movies. The original Wan’Er has some extra bass if you want more rumble in movies, but the Studios are good for media too.
whoa first timehearing nano ripe gekka, tried it with my super budget EDC Pro and it sounds so good. I'm using spotify, HQ stream, poweramp eq (bang & ofulsen beoplay earset 3i EQ). Planning on getting Moondrop Chu II. I'm noexpert with IEM's but love to explore more, rn I have the EDC Pro and KZ ZSN Pro X.
ZSN Pro X was my first IEM, hope you’re enjoying the hobby. That’s a great setup you got there. The Chu2 should sound a lot like your EDC Pro but with more forward mids and less bass/treble. More balanced.
So which is for male vocal i like male singer most
It depends on if you want deeper, bassier vocals, or something more upper-range. Freddie Mercury and DeAngelo are quite different.
For lower vocals something a bit warmer usually helps with the deeper tonality. Look at the Zero:2 from 7Hz.
For most other vocals, honestly the Wan'Er works well across the vocal range for all genders
I hear pop,r&b,hiphop,,lil phonk,,musics like(all the stars by sza ),( justinbeiber music).. what should i buy...how is the headfonezone edition of this..
@@Car-Guygamer the headphone zone edition is identical to the normal Wan’Er S.G. except for the color.
For your music, I’d say get the Moondrop Chu:2, unless you live in a humid climate. If that’s the case, grab the 7Hz Zero:2
@@AudioAmigoReviews 😭😭its choosy..what should i get idk..i got hyped where the waner keeps good st women voices..does the both waner is like that...how is waner as for male
Like or should i go for chu 2 non dsp.(my fone is bad at battery ,so charging port is busy..what about non dsp chu2.. can i go for it. .can it gives male, female, decent bass, good clarity,fun..does it a all rounder..can i go for it.. please help sir...
@@Car-Guygamer The Wan’Er S.G puts female vocals more forward. But I personally think it lacks a little upper harmonic energy and clarity.
The Wan’Er studio edition doesn’t do that. It also has a lot less bass energy. So I wouldn’t recommend that for you.
Just grab the Normal Chu:2 or the normal Zero:2 and you’ll be happy. They’re both excellent. Don’t worry about what you don’t have and just enjoy what you have!
Bro I’m so so so confused and overwhelmed…
I was gonna order Wan’er sg before I saw your video ..
I’ve never used iem’s before and my library is not pull of female vocals I listen to a wide range of music from 90s rock like creed staind- hoobastank- audio slave to lofi music and I listen to Indian slow romantic music as well … which one should I go for ..
please guide me man all these audio jargon’s are making me loose it .
@@Gacha-Gaming-India if you live in a humid area: 7Hz Zero:2
If you live in a dry area: Moondrop Chu 2.
Both have reviews on my channel if you want more details
@@AudioAmigoReviews I live in sub tropical area.. it gets as humid as it can be . It’s 1 am here and humidity is 82%
@@Gacha-Gaming-India then go for the 7Hz Salnotes Zero:2. :) I think you’ll like it.
@@AudioAmigoReviews thanks bro I'm super excited I was confused between the wan'er sg colab with headphone zone iem vs salnotes .. I ll go for the salnotes super excited
I got them and I'm a bit treble sensitive.
These are so good for long listening with very good overall mid and lower treble presentation. Rich and full sound overall, just not very sparkly or detailed on the high treble.
