I'm inspired to use jute or other twine and two strands/colors of cotton yarn....
Maybe jute twine, colored cotton, and some type of cord....

You could easily make it a purse if you single or double-stranded the yarn.

Very pretty! This stitch is on my bucket list!! I am finishing my pink wafflicious cardigan! I only had worsted weight so I modified it a bit as needed. You know, I tried that stitch once and it was really stiff. But this cardigan is so squishy and cozy! I am definately going to make a blanket using that stitch Thanks Michelle! It’s even more beautiful than I imagined!!
What kind of adjustments did you have to make on the cardigan? I usually only have worsted weight yarn on hand.
Do you have any recommendations for a US store equivalent to Brick Bubble for Faux Leather Garment Tags?
What is the mm of the jute cord? I purchased "4-ply" off Amazon, but it was so thin! 4mm. I didn't realize there were different mm 😮
