Grace just became a teen and already she understands the mournful bluesy sounds Angelina wished she could do, when she went to do it at 3:48 Jason wouldn't wait til she finished it and cut her off to talk (got a plane to catch ya know) she did it again a couple of times at 4:12 to 4:18. They sound so good together in this song, Jason should have recorded it with her
Grace's voice is so strong, it simply drowns Jason out, I think Jason felt a slight bit intimidated by Grace's voice. I don't care who the artist is, they can never have that signature tone of Grace Vanderwaal it's simply impossible, Grace was born with that honesty and knowledge of how to sing any song, even Jason's own song, he invited her, he should have given her the opportunity to shine, but he got greedy, thanks 99 you can spot the simplest facts!
@@jamesgriego1089 since this event I've seen some videos of his concerts and he always brings a local singer up on stage to sing a song with him and he may be the nicest guy but when he gets on stage an arrogant side of him comes out and he treated Grace no differently then those amateur singers he performs with through out his tours. In the old days of Sinatra and Dino there was an etiquette for treating female performers that was on stage with them and some performers don't understand that common politeness. When he introduced that school he said "I would like to welcome...." instead of "Grace and I would like to welcome...." Grace as a 12 year old was given this opportunity by him and she will always admire him for that so chances are she would never see the negative side of this, or maybe she did and that is why near the end she left his side and immersed herself into the school choir
@@Calers-gu1ib that is something I never though of, I thought it was planned out for Grace to sing alongside the other kids, your eye for detail is a lesson for me! I have seen Jason here in my home town and he did invite a young man to sing, but he was just a so so singer, any way, Grace did sing this song with him at a convention can't remember the venues but Grace it seems to me was given more space with out Jason, I'll see if I can find it in my pile of Grace material I have, I'll admit I'm no computer wiz, but I literally save every thing Grace, by the way my brother is a musician and singer here in Vegas and he does Sinatra, Elvis and a lot of our generation's music and the casinos always pack his review, I wish I had his voice a lot people say he sounds like Como, any thanks 99, your an asset to the fans!

If you recall Grace walks away to put down her Uke because she no longer had a reason to hold it. He immediately reacted to her walking away like he was anticipating something was wrong. She turned and said I'm just putting my Uke down. Was he already thinking he wasn't treating her right and worried she might walk out. I just thought that was unusual that he inquired "where are you going" or is he just a control freak
Yes all the up and coming artist that were influenced by Grace Vanderwaal the legend, Angelina Jordan is a beautiful cover artist, but the genius of Grace Vanderwaal's mind can not be match and her knowledge of every musical genres can't even come close to being matched, I look at all of the artist and still come up with the same conclusion, there is and never will be another Grace Vanderwaal, absolutely no one like her!!
