I've seriously thought of this, problem is, it'll magnetize anything you use it with, and that will collect unwanted debris. It happened on one of my MT and hated it. And there probably isnt a way to demagnetize it. Very handy though, the side effect of it is just undesirable.
This seems like a great option for a handyman that might be switching through tools a lot when doing various tasks at a single job site. It’s kind of like a universal holster
Now you got my attention. I will get 2, hate to have all the pliers and stuff on my pockets and climbing to fell down. I was recently installing traffic signs, I think can be handy to use those in special needs. I like to have the pliers with me but not in pockets, know I know how! Ben I highly recommend you the iron lineman pliers from Klein tools. I have the normal linamen pliers too but use more the ironwork those have a better gripping surface for general purpose
I just grab old bottles shampoo or face wash cleane plastic, just make diy holster like kydex firearms holster.. That's why don't leave 1st tools, i mean knife 😉

Adding the holstery to a Veto pro pack is a thing. Holds a m12 drill by the belt clip pretty decently

Agree on the 9” Klein Ironworker pliers. Best thing I’ve ever found for building fence.
