    Another advantage to the Knipex 10" is that they're light enough so when you shove them in your hip pocket to take out to where you're working they don't pull your britches down like a heavy ol' pipe wrench does.

    For pipe wrenches, in my opinion, the PWZ’s / Bahco’s are up there with the Knipex, but regardless we are talking about the cream of the crop. The traditional pipe wrench is saved for the cheater pipe.
    The Knipex flush cuts really are great. I don’t like that ridge that regular cutters create on softer materials when they smush down the material as the cut happens. Now my (Matco :) ) Knipex say “for plastics only” but I know they make flush versions of their larger cutters.
    As an aside, flush cutters are a perfect example of the benefit of buying off the truck. Knipex USA is very friendly and helpful for warranties, but being able to call my Matco distributor and have them hand me a new pair is sweet.

    Koon, check out Milwaukee's 10L pipe wrench, i would not categorize it against the k ipex pipe wrench pliers, I would insert it into it's own, IT IS INCREDIBLE, light, strong, good spring so it doesnt rattle, long handle, tiny head, I promise you wont be let down. The jaws are SHARP, it can damage.

    I think those swivel Allens are pretty cool, but honestly speaking they may work on some Toyota WSS's. With my experience, the bulky swivel portion will interfere with the brake dust shield on most vehicles and with some the CV axle. They are awesome for the CAT heat shields on Chevy cars and perfect for the heat shield on the Ford Freestyle rear motor mount, they pay for themselves on this job, LOL

    My only gripe with the hyper steps bits is when we just warranty out our 1/2" last week he said it poped up on his screen that it isn't covered under warranty because we are a factory. I hope Matco isn't being stupid because we have 5 sets of hyper steps all the way to 3/4" no skips. I just saw they came out with a bigger set that goes to 1" but we told him we aren't buying another dam thing if they don't honor the warranty they promised when we purchase thousands of dollars worth of drill bits.
    My dealer isn't at fault and called and gave an ear full to his district manager and was pissed too and said to him " why the F#$& didn't they tell me this when I sold all these bits to my customer" because now he warrantied It out of his own pocket without knowing If he will get re embursed, and that isn't right. They need to stand behind their warranty claim and stop trying to create a loop hole.

    • @KoonTrucking
      @KoonTrucking  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like your rep is screwing you on that one.... I wouldn't buy crap from him at all if he wouldn't warranty the tools I purchased from him. And when I say "NOTHING" I mean nothing, not even an energy drink. In fact I wouldn't even step foot back on his truck. It doesn't cost him a damn thing to warranty out those because Matco will send him a replacement.
