I use a lot of Alpha brass and I use the small primer 6.5cr brass. I don't find it one bit below Lapua and those guys are the gold standard. But the best thing is, if I run into any problems I can call the alpha guys up and they will make it right. They are the nicest guys you can ever talk with and it's a parent by them giving you $100 worth of brass! It's a good experience, no matter how you look at it.
Ive been shooting Alpha for 2.5 years. Never had any issues with it. Compares with Lapua if not a little better. Ive never had to resize them on first load though. I also noticed it took 2-3 firings for them to be fully fire formed.
I had never heard of Alpha Munitions until I just saw this video. I just ordered 100pc to try in my Sauer 100. My go to brass has been Peterson for my other 6.5CMs, but it's out of stock. This seems like it'll be good plus it comes in a 100rd box rather than a 50.
I also have a Ruger Precision in the 6.5 Creedmoor. I have quite a bit of Covid "overpriced" brass and have gone through the same process so thanks for confirming my process! LOL I see you've changed out the rifles rear stock. Between adjustments loosening and complexity of adjusting, I switched to a Magpul Gen3 Precision Stock. Would you mind sharing the type of rear stock you've chosen? Thank you!
I just added 6.5cm and initially bought 500 Lapua but found this and bought 500 of these to get started with, a great product in a cool box.
can you post a link for the insize slide micrometer
Found them at he bottom in one of your replys. Thanks, keep up the good work. Love my 6.5 Uintah, saw yours and ordered one.
