This movie was so bad that it broke my heart. I saw the original, real, good, quality Ghostbusters in the theater back in 1984. At that time, Ghostbusters was HUGE. Ghostbusters was omnipresent. This excruciatingly painful movie faded into obscurity almost immediately after it was released. I liked Melissa McCarthy in “Mike & Molly”, but there is no need to keep perpetuating the “angry woman” stereotype. Kristen Wiig is the antidote to funny. Leslie Jones…. Yikes!!!! If I want to see a movie with her in it, I will watch any movie about Sasquatch. The only way this movie could have been any worse, is if Pauly Shore or David Spade were in it.

I don’t hate this movie, but it will never be one of my favorites. That being said, I like the first four minutes. Feels like a decently ramped up version of the library scene from the original.

I love this Version. Too bad even before it came out so many people Hated on it all because woman were the stars. I laughed at it so Hard. Too bad the Director made it so expensive by doing reshoots that never made it into the movie and made so much slime that was never used it cost the studio millions of dollars. But the puns and Chris Playing the dumb receptionist was awesome.
Even Tyler Perry movies have fans.
They hated because it was crap and painfully unfunny, that it started women was nothing to do with it

@@adamwatson2914 to watch the original movie Ghost Busters, was a good comedy, of fond memories watching it with my children. Do you have a problem with that, even though I was commenting to the TH-cam creator whom was sharing those short episodes. Are you the TH-cam creator asking for input purposes, to see which of the 3 movie's we would want to watch again? Or are you a curious stranger or an argumentive insulating troll, trying to shead negativity on as many people as possible? Why would you Care about my comment? What's your purpose of replying to me?
Well you sounded like you wanted to see this whole movie but I see you meant the original, that’s different 😛
Where to begin with this film, is yet a mystery! It lacked so much in the context of the storyline; I am not sure that even a ghost would be able to follow. The acting, was, well mediocre at best! I felt it portrayed Leslie Jones in a negative perspective in terms of her character. Never mind that Melissa McCarthy really was horrible in terms of humor with maybe one or two scenes where she was actually funny. I wouldn't say I would run out and buy a ticket to watch her comedy live! Kristen Wiig seemed to be more of a high school girl flirting with the boys throughout the film. Kate McKinnon just seemed a little too butch in terms of her character, and lacked in the original context of whom she was trying to portray; in terms of Harold Ramis original Character "Spengler". I could go on and on, about just how bad this movie was. It seems more of a political, social, melodrama set against something unseen. All I can say is, that this version of Ghostbusters, well deserves to get slimed!
