I just want to say thank you and enjoy it. I'm 51 years old with stage 4 esophageal cancer. I have always wanted to see Alaska, God has blessed me greatly, I was given 12-14 months to live in August 2019,I'm still here! I no longer have a stomach, esophagus, or gallbladder but I'm gaining everyday. Maybe someday I'll see you up there. Until then thank you for showing me the back country beauty! God lives!

John I completely understand what you are going through. I lost my Brother at the age of 48 to Esophageal Cancer and my Dad at the age of 78 to the same thing. Live your life to the fullest you can. I wish you nothing but the best, and much Respect. Good luck and God Bless.

I’ve said it before and will say again. You are a big reason why I up rooted my family and moved to Alaska. In fact I’m building (rebuilding) a 1970 truck camper and working over a 2008 GMC 2500 to haul it so we can go see some of the amazing places you’ve already taken us through your channel. Hopefully we will cross paths eventually in this big beautiful state. Your channel is incredible and you are a real stand up guy. Keep on trucking!!!!!

What a fabulous life and story, Tim!. And the fact you have been able to share so much with your Dad is wonderful. My dad and I flew the alcan together in a Cessna 185, back in the late 80's. We had al Alaskan adventure. He is gone now, but the memories are forever, as will yours with your dad.

I love hearing stories like yours and now you're living life your own way!!'I've always loved the outdoors and seeing places I'll never be able to go and I'm fine with that. I'm handicap with a brittle bone disease and these days I can't do much but I can't change anything so I try to just make the best of everything. Thats awesome im glad you accomplished all of those things you set out to do. I tried Ak and couldnt stand it. Ill take the Ak marine ferry to go fish for a few days but thats about it.

Back in my hometown of Modesto, CA. there was a guy who had built himself a homemade camper very similar to yours- complete with cedar shingled roof and deer antlers mounted outside in front. This was in the middle-60's, we saw him driving around town for years. The camper was mounted on an old Willys pickup truck.

Can you give a little background to how are you found the truck? The mileage on the truck for instance. I’m just really interested in the color/pattern/history. I haven’t seen a video about it. I think it would be really cool.
