Ray Syd, excellent video and portrayal of the i8. I bought one in September, 2020. It is a 2019 Roadster and like James says below, I'm love struck with this car. I've owned and driven a lot of different cars in my 66 years, but this one takes the cake. It's just so damn fun to drive and it's like 4 different cars. People who have never driven one won't ever get it, other than most of them are plussed with how she looks. Thanks for sharing your impressions!
I'm sure they'll keep dropping in price. Just make sure you don't get a frozen black one or you'll be dealing with a lot of paint issues if you ever have to repair damages.
@@raysyd5643 You almost can't. People have to drive it to understand it and what it's all about. It's not just about 0-60, which BTW is respectable, or 1/4 mile times. It's about forward thinking. Thinking outside the box. Proving an idea works. Outrageous real world MPG figures. Driving around town in pure electric enjoying the quiet serenity. And so much more. It's about what the future could become........
Ya makes sense, I rented one to talk about how shitty the car is and how it sounds like a lawnmower. I drove it for a few days and now I own one. Drive one if you get the chance.

I agree. I bought an i8 recently and I love it like a silly love struck teenager. :-)
Congrats man, I'm really trying to figure out how to convey how dope the car is in videos

@@James-yd8tg Honestly I agree with all of that, but at the end of the day everyone says the car is slow, it really isn't slow.
