You make it look simple man! I like the fact that you changed your mind right in the middle and showed us that you did, instead of editing it out. I was thinking that first design wasn't matching up too then you went in another direction and pulled it together with the floor panel. Nice work. As always, Thanks for sharing your garage with us Kyle.
The starter is pmf in my truck and I need to change it tonight , but I find it calming to watch you work your magic . Now out to the freezing cold snow to "go do work son" . Maybe that will motivate me to finish the jeep in the garage so next time something breaks I can work in the warm garage LOL. I see the Cutworm car is running and tuned now , I thought you would be done first . We have the same problem , I say 1 panel a day and the jeep will be done . I am at about 1 a month for the last 3 months now I am getting snowed in ,hopefully I get more done .
Shop supervisor over the shoulder... ruff ruff.. great build; lots of great information to utilize for a build I am doing. Can’t wait to see the bibbster finished
Thank you for all of your great videos, I am watching this again after several years, great reference material! I have purchased many of the products that you use in your videos along with many of the tools that you have reviewed on, "You Need This Tool Fool" Thank you.
I remember watching when this thing was sitting on 4x4’s with the wheels propped up against it. It has come so far! You do awesome work man, keep it up!
You the man! This is my first time watching your build. Got a lot of ideas, watching all the videos ,. I sure learned a lot bro. Every one of the videos are pretty detail and for sure that camera is on point , You can really see the detail view . I'll surely grind . Thanks Bud !
I’m amazed of the quality of work you do, so impressive to look at! Personally i don’t have any attachment to that era of mustang (like the old stuff more got a “66 coupe) but the oldschool metalfab is so entertaining to watch! You can make an AMC gremlin or an fiat multipla (for us folks on the other side of that big ocean) look amazing. Your making a piece of art! Also, it would look cool if you got an tattoo artist to engrave the entire tunnel with Some tribals (and a bald eagle MURICA!) would suit the type of build you are going for!
At first i was like NO Don't Do it to the Mustang. After watching all the videos, I can wait to see the finished product. Its going to be awesome and rad. I think it will look very good and different from your average mustang. I had a small custom rail buggy for uears and it just sat there. I finally sold it back to the family that I bought it from, cause the older guy who built it passed away and his son wanted it back because gis father built it from hand. Me amd my wife talked about getting a 4 seater rail buggy but keeping the same look as the one i had, becaise it sat very low to the groumd and all. My wofe passed away 2 years ago amd after watching your videos, I have got to get me a 4 seater rail buggy now but have it built like the one I had. It will be all custom and not you average big amd bulky rail buggy. I will make ot like a eat rod 4 seater rail buggy. Thanks for the inspiration that I needed to finish what me and my wife talked about doing before ahe passed. Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see it finished.
That panel looks great, but here is what I am thinking: Your bead needs to project the other direction and you need to make another pass about 2” inside of it. That will give it a little more character and follow the “stamped look” concept of your floor pans.
Shit looks amazing I say leave it aluminum. And maybe do like door panels carbon fiber the interior. But looks badass. I just did work but I ran out of welding gas lol tommrow is another day Kyle
If you wanted to keep the tube floor idea going you could use bondo to make to tube shape and have that as a mold. You would lose the aluminum panel but it would give you the tubes
It's fun watching The Bibbster evolve. Thanks for sharing your creative design process, Kyle. You and "Weezer the Fab Lab" are doing a helluva job.👌 See you on the next one.
The work looks awesome. Would love to see the carbon work, but that does look sweet in aluminum. The cup holder comment is a joke from an old magazine article about drag week cars not being "street cars" unless they had a cup holder installed lol
New panel does look good. Is there a reason you didn't want to relocate the mounting tabs to better fit the original design? Also if you do keep it metal What are you going to do for heat insulation? I can only imagine it'll be like driving a cool looking frying pan in the summer. Please don't take this wrong I love these videos and what you're doing, I'm just trying to see the big picture better.
Looking good. I think the flow of the ribs from the floor up over the console looked great. Couldn’t you have just move the tabs over so they were centered on the the rib ?
What dies do you use for that bead? I've got a Baileigh 36" roller with the basic dies that came with it, I'd like to get some different dies to do quilting with as well.
I've been wondering that for a while. Also wondering if theres some kind of vibration isolation. Big ole V8 and heim joints everywhere, that things going to shake n rattle a fair bit! Personally, id want the full floor pan sealed.
You might want to make sure that the floor under your bottom to be thick enough ,just so that just if something on the road doesnt bite your boys . You know what I mean Vern ..
Ive noticed you switch back and forth between using an inkzall and sharpie industrial markers... Is there a reason behind this or is it more just grabbed what's close?
Love it, Kyle! My chassis is already powder coated...do you know of anyone who makes a dzus bracket that can be bolted/screwed onto the tube? I'm thinking riv nuts and like #10 or #12 button head fasteners to bolt an L-bracket to the chassis.

I love the redesign of that panel, this thing is getting better and better!
Thank you for all of your great videos, I am watching this again after several years, great reference material!
I have purchased many of the products that you use in your videos along with many of the tools that you have reviewed on, "You Need This Tool Fool" Thank you.
really dig the contouring of the bead around the attachment points
Awesome work once again! I really like how you're not afraid to scrap old ideas and start all over again, the new design looks way better!
thanks
Mr Voss..... you are a TRUE Craftsman!
thanks man
I remember watching when this thing was sitting on 4x4’s with the wheels propped up against it.
It has come so far! You do awesome work man, keep it up!
thanks
I agree with jumbo goodwin, give weezer some love, he wants to help with the project.
I agree. That second design is much better. I think keeping the aluminum would be a lot cooler than going carbon fiber.
I agree about the panel looking sick I would scrap the carbon fibre ides looks amazing with the Zeus fasteners
DUDE!!!...Give that dog some love man...lol.....Panel turned out awesome!
thanks
The people that dislike your videos are nuts. Excellent craftsmanship!
thanks
Amazing work sir, you took the words right out of my mouth when you said keep it alloy.
Excellent fabrication. A pleasure to watch. Regards from Ireland 🇮🇪

Dont second guess yourself, that panel looks Killer!!
I like the way the panels cover but you still see the chassis tubes I always cover mine awesome job
yeah thats by design. I want everything to be seen
I love the idea of using as much carbon as you can for this build. A full body made from carbon would be so cool.
yeah I like that idea as well
That design turned so much better than the original planned idea!
thanks

Dude...gents....oak burnin bad asses. Me like. I jumped from another fellas page to yalls. I'm also a hand-made gent myself. Good shiz hooah.
Looking great, you continue to impress. Many youtubers seem to get their audience then build a big shop then burn right out.
yeah youtube is exhausting
inlay the center section with carbon fiber. That would look sick aluminum on the outside with a carbon center
That's exactly what I was thinking with brass rivets around it
Carbon fiber wrap it, lmao
Love the videos man. You definitely make it look easy. Hopefully one day I'll have a shop space to try it on my own .
I live in Easley glad I found this channel
thats awesome....welcome
Great work your doing! The one tool I don’t have yet is a bead roller I want a Jamie Jordan one. Anyway great skills you have!
thanks
Sir your work deserve the Salute
thanks

I was going to comment man that panel came out good and then you allready said it for me. This thing is Rad! Do work son!
Yep, looks way better that first design=) can't wait to see carbon fiber design!!
That panel work impressed me!!
awesome...thanks
That panel looks great, but here is what I am thinking: Your bead needs to project the other direction and you need to make another pass about 2” inside of it. That will give it a little more character and follow the “stamped look” concept of your floor pans.
nah
you are on a roll this week brother!
Shit looks amazing I say leave it aluminum. And maybe do like door panels carbon fiber the interior. But looks badass. I just did work but I ran out of welding gas lol tommrow is another day Kyle
thanks
Looked good even with the change of plans. First look at this channel, going to hang around a while is ya don't mind.
dont mind a bit....thanks for watching
Beautiful work man
thanks

That design is awesome
Way to design on the fly
thanks
Can’t wait for the next update
Incredible job! I need to go do work!
It's fun watching The Bibbster evolve. Thanks for sharing your creative design process, Kyle. You and "Weezer the Fab Lab" are doing a helluva job.👌 See you on the next one.
thanks man
Hell yeah looks rad. I use a ton of ram board since you showed us on your channel. Way better than cardboard!!
thats awesome
It does look sweet I’d call that done ✅ you don’t want it to be too modern do you.
Looking Killa er With Every New Update Kyle, Thanks for Sharing Your Skills n Knowledge with Us. God Bless All
thanks
Looking good. Merry Christmas from Mike's Videos
Still picking up what you're putting down
I dig the new design better than the original.
Great job on the bead rolling. :-)
thanks
Best background music on TH-cam per sub count.
Columbia, SC here. I'm from Spartanburg originally. CarsandCameras is from NC.
right on !
How about an antique finish shadow around your bead rolls?
Cross bone wrenches and skull in the console panel...oh yeah
Where's the cup holder going? Lol
He does sick work and yeah it would look cool, but
I don't think he should add more work to the project. He's about 1/2 done.
lol...gonna need to figure that out
The work looks awesome. Would love to see the carbon work, but that does look sweet in aluminum. The cup holder comment is a joke from an old magazine article about drag week cars not being "street cars" unless they had a cup holder installed lol
Pretty sure this car is gonna spill a closed bottle of beer!
@@granttoye5852 lol...gonna make it ride like a Cadillac ;)
Nice job Kyle😉👍👍
Cutting sheet on wood and cardboard? Good little shop project, cut and weld yourself a cutting/welding bench out of square, angle, and flat stock
I already have two welding tables and a plasma table....I do how ever plan to build some sheet metal tables for the new shop
Doesn't look too bad the panel a little bit plain but still looks good
New panel does look good. Is there a reason you didn't want to relocate the mounting tabs to better fit the original design? Also if you do keep it metal What are you going to do for heat insulation? I wasnt sold on the original design...
That side panel reminds me of some kinda gaskets.
yeah I could see that
another fine video .man I wish I had a electric bread roller
I like that panel the best mate I think you should make the floor panel like that to mate
I love how its looking. Cant wait to start on mine. Btw you should make a doggo bed for him to chill out on while he supervises.
she has one
Sorry thought i put she. But then shes like mine, let me just stick my nose in here. Lol
Nice clean work! Awesome as always mate!
thanks
looking good man
Voting for keeping it aluminium not carbon fiber. I also reckon that is a perfect spot to put the name of the build with a nice font engraved in.
You do some excellent work young man very nice beautiful job
thanks
I like the aluminum
What is this gonna go for low and fast? When I figure out how I would like to share some with y'all as well.
you da man DILLY DILLY
What do you plan on doing to kill some of the “tinny” sound that the panels make?
Wings World, I’m no expert, but I would venture to guess the forming, bending, and bead rolling will lessen the “tinny” sound.
yeah shouldn't be any tinny sounds...
Its a hot rod though, I expect it to be loud and obnoxious.
Looking good. I think the flow of the ribs from the floor up over the console looked great. Couldn’t you have just move the tabs over so they were centered on the the rib ?
sure
looking good Brother do what you do. That design is better than the other. Have a great day
thanks man
so cool, I have a factory that can make all kinds of non-standard customized parts, hope it can help you.
What dies do you use for that bead? I've got a Baileigh 36" roller with the basic dies that came with it, I'd like to get some different dies to do quilting with as well.
I like the delrin stuff from mittler bros. I use a tipping die up top
What steering wheel is that? Love the build!
Nice job for real
Maybe do a carbon insert by the pedal area for scratches
Can’t wait for a new video 👍
You can wet sand it with the da using the 3m trizak sanding pads.
That panel look sooooo cool,, not sure I understood you are you going to inlay carbon? that will look the muts nuts mate
No, he was just going to use the aluminum panel as a type of mold to form the carbon fibre to. Just as you would make a mold for fiberglass.
Looks good as is just move the duz fasteners to the center of your design, dont scrap it
You going to add weather stripping behind to panel to seal off the panels?
I was just thinking the same thing ;-)
I've been wondering that for a while. Also wondering if theres some kind of vibration isolation. Big ole V8 and heim joints everywhere, that things going to shake n rattle a fair bit! Personally, id want the full floor pan sealed.
no
You might want to make sure that the floor under your bottom to be thick enough ,just so that just if something on the road doesnt bite your boys . You know what I mean Vern ..
That is so cool. How did you learn how do all this? Did you go to school or learn on your own?
Lookin hella good!
thanks
It’s looking great!
thanks
Ive noticed you switch back and forth between using an inkzall and sharpie industrial markers... Is there a reason behind this or is it more just grabbed what's close?
mostly whats close...I do like the inkzalls though
Doin work!
U definitely got a good eye for that and those fasteners are koo
thanks
Joss👍👍👍👍 i like this video
Cool stuff. Did u build the frame?? Or buy it and go from there?
built everything
Ever worked with titanium sheets ?
Where you at in sc I’m near Florence ?
what dies are you using on your bead roller?
some of the mittler delrin dies. tipping die up top
and what this type metal and dimension thickness you can give me link for this tools from floor?
what is the name of the panel lock rotary 14:41
Love it, Kyle! My chassis is already powder coated...do you know of anyone who makes a dzus bracket that can be bolted/screwed onto the tube? I'm thinking riv nuts and like #10 or #12 button head fasteners to bolt an L-bracket to the chassis.
thanks...I dont
Keep it metal. It turned out so good. What where you using in your bead roller? Looked like a tipping die?
it was
LookinGood!
thanks
nice work men :-)
thanks
Awesome! 😀 quick question... the fasteners. Where do you get them? I've tried to Google it but I don't know how to spell it so couldn't find them. 😂
dzus...I get them on amazon amzn.to/2BAbC5A
Awesome, thanks! 👍
