HELL YEAH......Kyle, that card you bought for making patterns is the perfect size for your panel making on the 'Bibster'....meanwhile, in cold, wet and windy Scotland...we make do with a Kelloggs cornflake packet.......Needs must etc....B-)
You ain't got shit a lazze. Lol. Nice work man. I check your videos on the regular because you do have talent. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and projects.
That thing is gonna be sick man! I wish I was this good I'm going to have to try some of that soon for my builds. I cant wait to see that finished product! Cant wait until your new shop is done I bet there will be way more badassness coming with all that extra space!
Its great to see another bibster vid Kyle those panels with a slight curve on the trans tunnel/center console area are going to look real good i can allready tell havent even finished the vid yet.
Hey Kyle. I know you've got a good way to go, but damn, let me go ahead and commend you on your progress.👊 The Bibbster is looking sweet! Great job, brother.👍
I just want to say that I love your channel. I've been watching for about a year and a half. My question is, since you are using aluminum against mild steel do you worry about a galvanic reaction?
Kyle dumb question man but would you have to do additional cutting to the panel if you do bead work after the English wheel work because it stretched it out further than the cut out? I'm sure it's a dumb question but sick work man
Dont let your lack of equipment get in your way, but you will definitely have better results with less work by having the correct tools for the job. Every tool available was invented by someone doing it the way youre thinking about doing it, and saying, nah there's gotta be a better way for a better result. Just my .02
@@Thefabforums there's one tube connecting the top and bottom of the trans tunnel. Theres 1 tube connecting the trans tunnel to the sides. With a v8 that thing is going to twist in the center.
seems to work well , one way i seen that quilt thing done on a bead roller was with a sharp edge wheel and a rollerblade wheel th-cam.com/video/859YBxgpgPw/w-d-xo.html doesnt seem to mind that youre crossing previous rolled lines too mush i think it will look nice and fills in a lot of open real estate on the panels , either bare or painted to look like leather wonder if you can adapt a beadroll die to make stitchmarks never seen that done on metal before
Lmao I was asking a honest question like "Have u ever used one before" I haven't that's why I asked. A lot of times editing helps you look good and look like a pro also. I trust Kyle and his opinion but I would like to see him mess up or at least be honest with us by telling us hey this was my second try and this is what ive learn from my mistakes. I get inspired to build stuff from videos like these. These videos aren't just entertainment for me there a way to learn and become a better fab guy. and because of kyle just this week I build my own battery box/tray for my chevy truck out of aluminum diamond plate. Thanks kyle for the inspiration and motivation. It didn't come out perfect but hey it works and I learn a lot from it.
Yeah this was my first try at making something on the wheel. I feel like I have a pretty good understanding of what needs to be done, just making the wheel do that is the harder part. This tunnel piece isn't perfect by no means but its something I think can still be cleaned up.
Good stuff. Your work is always pleasing with it's fine tuning.
thanks
I have a new found respect for you. Not many care for work like that. some nice work. Enjoying the vids. Thanks
thanks
As always, really cool to see your hands-on method
Your skills on the English wheel are mad. Can’t wait to see this finished
thanks

Malcolm Young in America we called the cereal boxes, but I see what you did there lol. Just messing with ya, but cheers from across the pond! 🍻 🍻
Should have also mentioned that 'Other makes and brands are also available'.....
Nice job nailing a compound curve on the back section of the tunnel.
thanks

Awesome Video Kyle, Excellent Explanations for Achieving End Results, I be watching for more Updates, God Bless All
Nice job brother .. and ... I'm diggin the background music!
I love this build. Been watching from the start. Mine isn't near as detailed but it does make it better knowing it is taking you this long
yeah the build length is mainly because I havent been working on it
Nicely done Stud
Sheet metal came out slick.
thanks
The trans tunnel turned out nice.
Thanks
Beautiful job brother!
EPIC BUILD, SIR! Hats off to you.

I have never used an English wheel. I can see the benefits of having one. Those panels turned out nice.
thanks
Nice work with the wheel, i'd like to learn the process. New to TIG so i am learning that now...
Very nice. Perfect fit.
thanks
Oh Hell yea that is just plan Bad Ass you make me wanna go out and do work !!!
That English wheel is killer. Nice work

Looking good buddy.
thanks
Nice Kyle😉😊👍👍
cool job kyle like it a lot
thanks
Looks good nice 👍 job
thanks
DA man that was cool, good work i enjoyed it an learned something
thank you
awesome
It could also be accomplished with a slip roll.
Sweet work none the less.
Great metal working. Ever consider contouring some foam to shape and making some carbon panels?
yeah the side of the tunnels will be carbon....going to make aluminum panels first and then use them as molds
Badass!
thanks
Tjats a sexy ass build dude much love from upstate New York
thanks
Great video thanks. Do you know were a guy could get a rubber band for a 6 inch wheel
not sure...I know a lot of guys gut up old tire tubes
Flange............thats a funny word. Flange!
maybe pre stretch on the wheel where your going to bead roll. The panel should shrink some after a bead
Bro you really need a plasma table 😉🤙🏼
yup....soon
The Fab Forums arcligjt out of bend oregon. Getting one once my wife’s car is paid off. $22k. Gonna be sooooo worth it.
Awwwwww Yeahhh DO WORK SON! looking good brother you make it look so easy lol
thanks

You do better work than I do, and I like the overall design, but I'm concerned about the lack of tubes in the center of the car.
lack of tubes? in what capacity?
@@Thefabforums there's one tube connecting the top and bottom of the trans tunnel. Theres 1 tube connecting the trans tunnel to the sides.

I’m just curious I’ve never done bead rolling before How long did it take you from start to finish on that tunnel cover?
I had several hours in it
I noticed at about the 8:20 minute mark the bottom die/roller is moving a bit not sure if that could be an issue. Just an observation.
yeah it puts some side load on it when you get it out on the edge
What gauge sheet metal are you using? Thanks.
this was .063
You should engine turn the front half and the dash
and what this type metal for floor thickness dimension for time 11:38
Is this car ever going to be done?
seems to work well , one way i seen that quilt thing done on a bead roller was with a sharp edge wheel and a rollerblade wheel

wonder if you can adapt a beadroll die to make stitchmarks never seen that done on metal before
song at intro ??
Amigo faz umas dublagens em português pq a qui no Brasil a galera gosta muito do seu canal e nem sempre todos entende inglês
Traducir al español por favor
Don’t bead roll them
Toyota wagon update please
Have u honestly ever use a English wheel before?
Rafael Sanchez easy there Armchair Quarterback. It’s real easy to criticize when you aren’t the one getting your hands dirty.
