The slide on the RV was in desparate need of repair. Dave decided the time to repair it upon us. He walks you through his process of doing the repairs. Enjoy.
Thank you for posting. I have a travel trailer that is starting to leak in the inside cabnets/wall areas, only on the slide out sides. This gives me an approach on how to address in the spring when we dewinterize it...thank you for the ideas
Thank you for sharing. My husband and I live year round in our rv and have started getting leaking through our slideout cupboard. Finding this video has given me a solution! ❤

You are welcome. Hopefully this solution will help you fix your slide.
Really good job I would do the bottom of the slide the same way so water doesn't wick into the slide out subfloor
Good ideas
Great job; i coated the whole roof with silicon; very waterproof
Thanks, siliconing the entire slide would have been a lot of work.
What type of silicone?
That's some good sealing tape! It will probably outlast the main roof membrane.
You are right, it probably will. 😉
Thanks for video
You are welcome
I did the same thing with my but caulked all the seems underneath the tape first then taped it
That is a good thing to do, Cody. I didn’t do any caulking as the seams were good. Thank you for commenting. I appreciate it a lot.
I was wondering if it’s a good idea, since the rubber seals go over top of tape
There has been no issues since installing it in over 3 years. It sticks super well.
Nice
Thank you.
