I just made two Christmas cards with this technique, one red and one green. They are just gorgeous. I can't wait to send them. Thank you so much for sharing this innovative and imaginative technique!
You sure started something here. Everyone is making this card. This is the second card that I have ever made and I just love this technique. I made several of them and plan on making a bunch more. Thank you very much for sharing this. I love, love, love it.
I cannot tell you how much I have LOVED this card technique..It was so hard for me to try and figure out until I found your video a while back and I keep referring to to it when my brain gets a little card foggy...lol thank you so much! victoria
I want to Thank you...you are the ONLY one that's seems to come up with the right measurements...I tried some of the other ones that are on here, and it didn't seem to me to come out right...I like perfection especially since I plan on selling my cards...The one I just made, came out to my satisfaction... Thanks again and keep up the good work...
I love this technique. I have been searching for a tutorial. Glad I found your blog and this tutorial. Can't wait to start creating!!! Thanks for sharing.
Triple-step stamping is one of my favorite techniques. Yours was so classy looking. I have a couple of wedding cards to make. In black and white or black and silver, this might be beautiful, esp. if I emboss the flowers.
LOVE this technique! It may have been around for years, but I hadn't seen it before. Definitely going to use this! Thanks, Dawn for showing us different things to keep our cardmaking new and different. Love your blog!!
Really cool design. I got a card from Pat who was / is a Stamping Up demonstrator and I tried to guess how to do it backwards and I probably wasted time cutting matts and frames and didn't even think to search for the easy way to do it. But yours just came up as a suggested video when I was rewatching mine. Thanks for an awesome tutorial.
Absolutely fantastic tutorial and could make bunches at a time. I was looking for a thank you for my friends that just had a retirement party for me and I wanted it to be something I made for each person....so thanks soooo much for this....it'll be perfect! TFS your talent and time!
Really great idea! I will be putting it in my CASE-IT file and (hopefully) using it soon. I want to thank you, too, for your great tutorials that always include the measurements on the pieces of cardstock. It's VERY helpful for beginners.
Thanks so much for putting this clip up and showing this stamping technique online. I have kind of altered it, and using the measurements I cut a favourite picture into the 3 different stamping card sizes and used the backing matts as suggested, then stuck it together in this layered fashion. It looks marvellous. Thanks again
This is a great technique and pretty easy to do but the look is so beautiful. I don't think I have ever seen it before. Thanks for sharing it with us.!
Hi Dawn, g'day from Australia .. Thanks for sharing this technique I found the way you explained it was easy to understand and you didn't rush the video..the card is so pretty and I cant wait to make it..Thanks again and Happy Stamping.
Thanks for sharing this tutorial it is very well done, you made it easy with all the measurements. I love the card and I am about to try it hope it turns out as BEAUTIFUL as yours.
I can't remember on whose TH-cam I saw this, but the person off-set each layer a little bit rather than having the evening aligned. Creates an incredible effect.
Oh my goodness this is so lovely. Thanks for sharing. I can think of a number of different ideas for this. Christmas comes to mind in red or dark green.
A wonderful card for almost any occasion! Tahnks for the tutorial. I saw this card somewhere and guessed a lor how to make it. And now its much easier than I thought! Have a nice day! Ilo
WOW! THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL! I also love the way you explained exactly what you were using and the measurements ~ many don't bother to tell us what all they use. Thank you for letting us know what you used. This is gorgeous. I haven't seen anything that comes close to something this nice in a store. :-)
Dawn...Love your technique for triple stamping you make it sooooo easy. I've been wondering how it was done, thanks to you I know now.....Thanks! for sharing, Gr8 job
I love this card technique. I have seen a couple of videos but I love your choice of colors and stamp. I have the size written down so I'll try and make one today. Thank you for sharing this video, I like it a lot, you're easy to understand. Maria R.
very elegant and actually not a lot of work. would look lovely even without the button. I'm new to cardmaking. I'll definitely try this. Thank you so much for sharing :)
The card is awesome and technique was great I love how you did the stamping. Also as you were creating the card I saw that you can also use the negative space as a frame too. So many ideas came to mind when I saw you do it. Yes, I know I will using that technique and I will also mention that you did it. Once again beautiful card.
Thank you so much for such an easy (well, that's how you make it look) tutorial. Have tried a couple of times to make a similar card but they always came out looking awkward. This method is great. Thank you for sharing. Am now off to have a look at your blog, am sure I will find many things to look at.
Thanks, Dawn. I hope you don't mind, but I linked this video to a blog post I did. I used your measurements and was inspired to make a birthday card/gift card holder with this technique.
Love your card. A new friend recommended that I see this and I did what a neat technique to try. I shall have to go and give this a try. Thanks for sharing.
wow.. thank you so much for sharing this with us.. I've been searching for this for so long and I finally found it.. and I do really love it;) please kept on doing and sharing your creativity ;) thank you.. God bless
about a hour ago I made a card similar to yours but I like yours better I have to give it a try. Mine was done with squares ending up being a 5 inch square. Love your videos
Dawn thank you for your tutorials! I've used this technique several times. Lately, rather than stamping, I've stacked the 3 pieces together & run them through an embossing folder. You have to be careful when you detach them from each other since the embossing process really smooshes them together. But it's a really pretty effect, especially when it's done with metallic card stock. =)
Dawn I'm so glad I found your site and all your great videos! thank you so much for sharing your talents with us all. I couldn't resist following this tutorial for a color challenge this week. I also added one of your faux suede 3 D flowers too. Great inspiration!!!
Really love this technique and I am working on a few cards this evening and I am going to try this out since I am a mostly a mini album person. I don't make that many cards unless requested by a client or a family member but it look like I will be making these type of cards in every bunch I make for some one lol. Thank you for sharing your wonderful technique with us. In His Grace, Lorisa aka Ellescrapper
