I love these curls for the maintenance free aspect. I use these on my granddaughters but I cut them so they aren’t so long. Also I started these off in their tube form and the pulled apart after 3 weeks. Got two hairstyles out of this

Every crochet braid hairstyle will NOT be successful, trust me, lol I KNOW. But you don't look like a poodle!!!! The hair frames your face very well and while it does have a lot of volume it can be adjusted. Thank you for an honest video, I hope you experiment with more brands/curl patterns :D

Tia Davis i used it in my daughters hair and it's done well through her school playing and all. i've washed her hair as well and it looks good still. i put a bonnet on it for bed and that's it. fluff it out and put her a bow on. im going to take it down in a couple weeks only b/c it'll b 6 weeks and i always take her hair down and deep condition it and let it breathe for a week r 2. anyway, i cut away the lil knots i created and that was it after i washed it..that 1 time. soo yea! im using it next time i do mine as well.
Thanks for your video! This is very helpful because I just bought this hair and plan to do the long crochet braid style. I used the Femi Jamaican soft dred last year in short crochet braids and it turned out great. I do think a solid color may look better for the long style. Wish me luck.
I used 4 packs too. Only thing I did different was cut it in a bob. I agree the curls are too stringy & too bouncy for me, but when I cut it in a bob, it looks nice.

i made a crochet wig with this hair but i cut them to shoulder length cuz it didnt look right to me long its looks better short to me on my head thankz for sharing
I love the Kima braid Brazilian Twist 20" crochet braided. It is soft and easy to separate. Looks great for about 3 weeks, for my taste. I feel ya on trying different hair and styles and the failures. They are really successes, ya know. :) You know to not do that one again or to put it in differently (change the braid pattern of my natural hair). I like what you did to make your look doable til you get a chance to change it. I was looking to try the soft deadlock and found your video. THANKS! I see what you mean about it being too stringy and 'poodle-ly". It's all good, though Ms. UrbanChic1. I gonna try the Kima Braid pattern Ocean Wave. See what happens. :) Oh, maybe wearing your soft deadlock Kima might work better as a short style.

I learn that with each install. My last style was not my most confident. I left it up b/c i spent so much time lol and i mean it was wearable. But ugh girl noooo lol. So like i said, you know best. As others were saying omg it's so cute im thinking it's alright ! So just try again with a diff technique , that's all . :)

Zette Johnson I would say definitely give it a try!! The hair isn't too expensive so do it maybe over the weekend when u might not have a lot to do the next day...just in case you don't like it you can always take it out and re-style your hair.
It doesn't actually look as bad as you think. It may be the braid pattern, no? Or it looks like it can be the way you cut it in the front but in any case it doesn't look too bad and there are other styles you can play with. I think half up, half down in the front may be cute, or the bun on top. LOL, this is an older video so I am sure it is long gone , the hair..but anyways

If I used less my cornrows would have shown since I installed each crochet strand around an 1/2 in apart in the front and about 1inch apart in the back. But I'm not using this hair again!! Lol

I don't think the curls look bad...maybe it should be styled different for you but it's definitely not bad.

Yeah I think I might try other types...but will crochet it on a net as a wig as an experiment just in case it comes out crazy again!! Lol

You might need to come it out pray it with moisture then twist it and dip in hot water it might. Help
You use too many packs and did not separate enough. I use 2 and and half packs. Each rolls can be separated in three parts

No girl, lol. It didn't need to be cut shorter, just shaped and rounded out. It looks like the hair is very springy, is it heavy?
No it was really light. & it's already been taken out & thrown in the garbage!! Lol
