I had an incident a few years ago and ended up in the ER; turns out what happened was unique and a bunch of doctors wanted to come take a look!! I understand your feelings and fears. It's so very hard to have multiple chronic illnesses. I don't have some of yours, but I do deal with several affecting my joints, muscles, and spine. Most people have no inkling of the pain levels we deal with on an hour-by-hour basis. You are in my prayers every day - and sometimes more than that. If you have an Aloe Vera plant, if you peel it and put some Aloe on your sore stomach it will heal fast 😊😊 my father in law had sugar and a hole close to his toe and it turned black and Dr said the next week they were going to amputate, but with Aloe Vera he healed up 😊😊

I really feel for ya. I remember what I went through after an appendectomy with a postop ileus. I had an NG tube for four days through my nose. I have to laugh now because I screamed at the doctor that I wanted it out NOW, not tomorrow. He promptly ignored me and walked out. LOL 🤣😂 Hopefully he knows that discomfort can bring out the worst in us. I just endured that for a few days in comparison to you! I cried before I saw the ER doctor because I knew what they were going to do to me. Sometimes the treatment is worse than the condition!! I do know that J-tubes are better because the intestines have a lot less nerves in them and are not as sensitive. I know it will take a bit of time, but you'll be glad when that is over. I don't know about the actual procedure of getting the tube placed, but sometimes our fears are worse than the reality too. In hindsight, inserting that NG tube wasn't as bad as I feared. Yes, it is a beautiful day to crochet!! I wish the best for ya.

Different then your but she was always in pain😢 I took care of her for many years so I was with her through everything she had to deal with. I lived it with her It’s so hard, and I wish it would get easier, but I know the reality of it. I'm so sorry you are in so much pain. I know the last thing you want is another surgery and another tube, I'm sorry a GJ won't work. I am sending you hugs and positive thoughts that your J tube surgery goes okay and you can benefit from bypassing your stomach. I know that is not much silver lining here, and I ended up on TPN even with J feeds so I'm not exactly a success story, but I will say that being able to drain my stomach is so much better than vomiting. I hope that somewhere at the end of all this pain is some relief from your suffering. 🙏🙏🙏

sugar? Diabetes? you can get Aloe juice drinks too so maybe help from the inside too?
@janhill2079 the raw is good for sores and heals 3 times as fast as anything else, things with Aloe have additives but for drinking it's ok
They also have a aloe vera gel that could help her

I really feel for ya. I remember what I went through after an appendectomy with a postop ileus. I had an NG tube for four days through my nose. I have to laugh now because I screamed at the doctor that I wanted it out NOW, not tomorrow. He promptly ignored me and walked out. LOL 🤣😂 Hopefully he knows that discomfort can bring out the worst in us. I just endured that for a few days in comparison to you! I cried before I saw the ER doctor because I knew what they were going to do to me. Sometimes the treatment is worse than the condition!! I do know that J-tubes are better because the intestines have a lot less nerves in them and are not as sensitive. I know it will take a bit of time, but you'll be glad when that is over. I don't know about the actual procedure of getting the tube placed, but sometimes our fears are worse than the reality too. In hindsight, inserting that NG tube wasn't as bad as I feared. Yes, it is a beautiful day to crochet!! I wish the best for ya.

I’m so sorry for everything your going through!! I’m here crying with you. I feel so connected to you as I have mentioned before you remind and look so much like my mom who also struggled with chronic illness. Different then your but she was always in pain😢 I took care of her for many years so I was with her through everything she had to deal with. I lived it with her It’s so hard, and I wish it would get easier, but I know the reality of it. Your a very strong person and I know some days you probably feel like you just can’t anymore, but you can and you will!!! Keep the strength!!! You need to keep getting though. We all love you!!! I'm so sorry you are in so much pain. I know the last thing you want is another surgery and another tube, I'm sorry a GJ won't work. I am sending you hugs and positive thoughts that your J tube surgery goes okay and you can benefit from bypassing your stomach. I know that is not much silver lining here, and I ended up on TPN even with J feeds so I'm not exactly a success story, but I will say that being able to drain my stomach is so much better than vomiting. I hope that somewhere at the end of all this pain is some relief from your suffering. 🙏🙏🙏

Hi Kayla, I’m so sorry to hear that you’re going to have yet another surgery and hole put in you for a J tube. I don’t understand why they are leaving you with the G tube. I feel absolutely horrible for you and what you are going through. I truly hope and pray that they can find away to get you better and out of pain sooner rather than later. I wish I was there because I just want to hug you and be there for you when you have to go to the doctors office without Big Daddy.
