Very informative, I'm 28 and have only thinning in the crown similar to the photo at 7:10 but probably 55% less hair loss at the moment and only on one side but gradually getting bigger. Using finasteride everyday for 6 month my hairloss is not defined enough or halted yet, I can see the crown progressively thinning still so I'm probably not a good candidate for a crown transplant at this time as it could get worse after the surgery. Would you suggest waiting a year or so to try and get to a level where my hair loss in the crown has either stopped after continued finasteride and dermarolling or waiting a long time until the loss become fully circular like in the 7:10 photo before going for a surgery?
If you have this problem, can you fill in some of it with transplanted body hair? There's a doctor whose name I forgot, but he uses a combination of scalp hair and body hair to give people more scalp hair.
I believe body hair on the head, looks like body hair on the head. Any use of body hair should only be used to cover any scarring or maybe some crown fill once the donor zone is exhausted.
Use hair fibers for the crown area, makes a massive difference
Hair fibers are a great option for added look of density
At that point some candidates could consider partial crown hair pieces.
yes, absolutely! I am a big fan of non surgical options.
The crown is my only problem and unfortunately I had a double swirl 😅 there is no hope
Start off using finasteride in the crown and report back in 6 - 9 months.
The man, the myth, the legend ! Preach Steve
See you soon!

We would suggest getting good photos of before and after and waiting one full year.
Maybe try SMP for the crown to save on grafts?
SMP is another great option to make really good hair transplants look even better

What do you think of partial hair pieces for the crown?
We think non surgical options are a great option for those that can manage them on a daily basis.
