2 weeks out of leaving to go away camping I recorded this! It is new choice of rooftop tent and awning where I get the most time next to the campfire due to the amazingly quick setup time and pack down.

My Story
For the past few years I have become more and more obsessed with travelling this great country in a 4WD. Just getting from point A to point B with the maximum amount of fun and excitement it what it’s all about for me.
My first 4WD was a Nissan Patrol and I have had one ever since, this build is my take on what would make the ultimate touring vehicle to do what I love most.

Prefer the BushCompany series, better coverage from rain so you can keep airflow and minimise condensation. Otherwise, practically identical. Great units.

Camp King- no side window coverage (in warm weather and heavy rain windows have to be closed, creating stuffy environment) and too fiddly with the front awning.
the camp king is way too overpriced!

They needed a fork lift to load it? How much does it weigh?
You access the tent from back correct? Is the awning not in the way of that when extended right around?

Haha good point. Didn’t think of that when I was watching.
The Alu-cabs have a retractable ladder, and you can use it on the three sides with doors 👌🏻

One of the only 270degree self supporting awnings? Yeah, if you exclude the Howling Moon Swing Awn, Eezi-Awn Batwing, and the Ostrich Wing awning which were all before the Alu-cab one 😅 ..and it only gives you cover on 2 sides of the car, side and back, not 'every side of the vehicle'.

Sam bro ya need to throw some legs on ya canopy.. best thing I ever did with mine.. use a drill to wind the legs down, leave everything setup lock ya doors and hit the tracks.. send us an email and I'll flick ya some photos of my canopy set up 👍

Reece 8 since led light bars have been put on top of roof racks on 4wds & spotlights on roll bars of bns utes the powers to be have changed the laws about a year ago. or u go with the saying "its only illegal if you get caught" great setup u have sam i have a bns ute that i wont get rid of but i have just bought a 2013 hilux xtra cab tray top. so have got some great ideas from your canopy setup. keep up the great videos.

Was gunna subscribe but when you implied that the superstore equipment wasn't up to standard, you lost me mate. I'm not a high end flyer; I could never afford your equipment and will have to keep following the more basic campers - you know, superstore campers.
All the best though, and I do like the tent, but can't afford that kind of gear. : )
It's not about what you drive or what equipment you have. Just about getting out there and enjoying the great outdoors.
