  • Bryan demonstrates an effective way of cleaning large coils in commercial applications with CoilPro from Goodway. The unit in this video has a microchannel coil, which is sensitive to pressure and easily damaged.
The goal of coil cleaning is to get all of the soil out without damaging the coil. Hoses sometimes aren't sufficient enough for cleaning commercial units, so the CoilPro is a safe alternative to the hose that applies a bit more pressure (but not too much).
The CoilPro comes with a pressure adjustment, a pickup hose for the cleaner, and a pickup tube extension to get deep inside the cleaner. In this video, we use the Goodway CoilShine cleaner, which is a mild chemical that's safe for use on microchannel. (Normally, microchannel coils just need a rinse with water, and coil cleaner should only be used in extreme cases.)

Not only was that satisfying to watch. But also very informative and relaxed some of my concerns on washing microchannel coil’s. I will definitely be investing in one of those for all my commercial jobs next summer. Huge supporter of all your videos ,keep up the great work man.

We just picked up a couple of these at work. Great machines. Using it to clean 6-10” thick chilled water coils in air handlers from the 1950’s. It takes some time but they eventually push dirt all the way through the coil

By percentage does anyone know how much more efficient or how much more capacity cleaning these coils help the system?
