Great video. Thanks for sharing. Just wondering if the inner wheel, the one that turns with ISO, distance and aperture settings spins loosely? I got this flash recently and that inner wheel feels very loose. Thanks in advance!!
The wheel is only for reference to give a possibly close camera setting of ISO and aperture for subject to camera distance at the variable power outputs. It has no impact on output of the flash unit itself.
I don't normal shoot on camera flash (as it's not a look I like. I shoot OCF 90% of the time), but I saw this for $40 demo price and picked it up for that paparazzi trendy look LOL
funny you mention that, because this is the first video I filmed after I decided to put less time into these TH-cam edits in order to just get some content out more consistently. I do photography (not TH-cam) for a living, so I am trying to spend as little time as possible on these, and maybe in the future I can put more time into it. my on-camera speaking, on the other hand, that's a work in progress and i'm hoping to get better with it as time goes on. thanks for watching and leaving some feed back, I appreciate it!
It'd be quicker just to show how it works in a situation rather than try to explain how it could work. just a suggestion to save time. @@movetomirrorless
You got there for the unboxing, I got there for the hair 😯 !
haha, thanks for the kinds words.
Cool review. I love this flash!
Excited to give my first flash a try. Using on a Ricoh GR and 35mm film cams.
Cool. His that Ricoh? I heard good things.
@@movetomirrorlessvery discreet for street photography love it
Will this be a compatible with the ZV-1f?? NEED help bought this camera and can't find an external flash compatible?

that is a confirmation, my ISO distance aperture wheel turns loosely as well.

Exactly. The price is too good to pass up. Then just throw in a vintage LR preset and some grain and bam you’re a trendy film shooter. 😂
great info, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi bro why is not working on Canon 250d? Thanks
It didn’t work on my Fuji xt100 until I turned on the manual flash feature in the camera’s settings. Maybe there’s something similar with canon.
@@movetomirrorless thaaaaank you 🙏🏼
Can it be triggered with godox wireless trigger?
I don't think so. it does have a pc sync input, so you can trigger it off camera if you have a sync cord.
I think the editing could be improved to make this video have a lot more of a fluid presentation. Keep doing your thing though man 🫡

@@movetomirrorless I think taking some time to create a simple script and adding a few jump cuts should suffice.
