I really like the Hunter, it may not have the best flight performance but it can still keep up with most of the other ones. Also, flares are really helpful on that br because most of the people just go haha missle go brrrrr so it will really help alot, sadly I dont have it yet cuz I was putting my Points into the Leo 2PL and now im just waiting for the Hunter. they put it to germany and at 9.3 to be a money printer, since many players won't grind it but buy it, because powercreep and the fact it'll go up in br in some time.

I don’t understand why people hate ec maps in air so much. I find them enjoyable especially when im playing a saber because you can get to the altitude that it was meant to fight at and i feel it takes more skill on ec. But thats my opinion and i dont care what you like.
because they are at tiers that many people don't like them at. also it's annoying that there is a really easy fix Air RB and RB EC but gaijin just ignores it.
I am sorry, but making the maps bigger was just a flat positive in my opinion. The cramped tiny maps give you so little breathing room, it's great to be able to climb and it unfumbles the furball alot which is also realy nice.
Nah it just means it takes longer to get to the furball, not fixing also. The F-14 at top tier also means it’s a death sentence to climb which further contributes to the 500m and below clusterfuck

I was trying to play 8.0 and 8.7 jets and was getting 100% EC maps, gun damage is also really bad, I was flying some quad Hispano British props pre and post patch and the difference in gun damage is massive.
They made some changes to the way HE works because of naval but applied it to all cannons, but for some reason not heavy machine guns, so in some cases .50cal/13mm style mg's do more damage than canons now (someone posted examples on reddit but it didnt get much attention)

It would've given something to go for, as opposed to the Phantom, which is almost identical to the RAF Phantom. The Sea Harrier FA.2 with AMRAAMS should be tech tree though, which should be fun. They should've done the hunter as a vehicle, or maybe something else, imagine a Saudi Tornado or something.
New maps are awesome, they just need to limit them to 10.0 or higher, tho they need to keep missiles out of 9.0 matches too and they dont gonna do that so im not hopefull
Personally I think missiles like R3Ss and aim9Bs (10G missiles in general) are fine at this BR, it makes a fine transition stage from having to missiles to having more powerful ones with 16/18/30G. But as we have it right now where the grand majority of early missile carriers have to fight jets with stuff like R60s or even R60Ms is where I personally would draw the line, but as GAIJIN does: as Long as it's a premium it's fine

as you can also see from the livery and the stats card in the hangar... its a "swiss" plane! so it makes sense to put it into the german tech tree. This plane was in service with the swiss air force and then they used it for the acrobatic display team Patrouille Suisse!
Why must it not be put into Germany? In terms of language, culture and economic and political factors that exist/existed between Germany and Switzerland...it makes the most sense. Or at least, more sense that putting it in a different tech tree.
When allot of the community was asking for EC sized maps at top tier, that's what we were asking for. For them to be at TOP TIER. Not 9.0+. The prior maps were fine for subsonics and very early supersonics, but in top tier where almost everyone has a radar that sees for at least 50 kilometers and many have missiles with 85km+ aerodynamic max range, it felt suffocating. The larger maps I feel are an overall positive for Top Tier, but they should NOT be applied to anything below 11.0.
idk where you're getting 85km from, the only missile that does that is the phoenix. everything else maxes out around 50km guidance, but actual flight distance is closer to a 30km maximum.

Maximum aerodynamic range is achieved effectively when you are going at maximum speed at very high altitudes shooting at a head-on target doing the exact same. You won't see those ranges in War Thunder due to average engagement ranges and altitudes, but they are there. Technically, Phoenix should have a max aerodynamic range close to 185km. But that would be if the lofting profile was properly modeled (it isn't).

The Finnish P-36 is also still in the German tree for some reason. There is no rule that export vehicles must be in their country of origin.

@@typhoon109 Then why is the Turkish F-104 in the Italian tree? I guess it’s derived from an Italian variant, but it’s still an American design. The Hungarian Bf 109s, and Bf 110, as well as the Romanian Hs 129 and He 112 B-1 are also in the Italian tree. The Israeli F-84F was also originally in the French tree. The Finnish P-36 is also still in the German tree for some reason. There is no rule that export vehicles must be in their country of origin.
