My midnight monkey vid did it as well as a Champion video I did (thumbnail is all sorts of wild). So we needed to add the process at the end to answer the questioning I was bound to receive.
I've learned that the twin swords actually slow down the timer for hidden blade, which is actually really good because in a normal run it might give you like an extra 10 seconds of the hidden blade buff on each enemy

I think its functioning by reducing the initial attack speed and animation by a certain % that would make the animations take 5 seconds in total. This multiplier would compound very quickly to like 1^-30 or something insanely small as a multiplier
I think I see why this happens. Effectively the debuff seems to be based on the enemy's animation and not the other way around, by that I mean for the devs to accurately do this effect where they are moving slower they simply slowed the animation down that would last X amount of time (lets say 6 frames or .1 seconds) and stretched that over the 5 second length of the effect. So they effectively cut down on code by not having a debuff timer and instead just had the effect itself be the timer. But since it cancels by finishing up the slow downed frames and with another CTDS that also needs to slow the foe down you now get an exponential effect.
now im thinking of other item stack combinations that could end with hilarious results obviously stat sticks and on-hit effects are out, since those would just be numbers / all going off at once with 5 doomsdays, if picked up 11 seconds apart, you would be constantly in the damage-buildup phase with it or you know, 9 lightning fingers / accel swords / rapid swords or metallic fist mayhem 2.0: steel golem + 9 ancient incense burners
I actually did a run with 5 and there was much less waiting making the run super easy and let me say. Seeing freezer in act 2 jumping into the air and just walking out of the way to kill him from behind when he lands is soooooooooo satisfying.
Ok, my previous suggestion about Masterpiece Clone Stamp was a bust. Cuz its no longer exists appearantly. But hear me out! Now that youre embraced your riggy nature (Congratulations on that btw), what about Double Gunpowder Sword? Or maybe even Triple Gunpowder Sword! I was seeing your King runs and saw one with Double Gunpowder Sword and I thought: "Why not do this exact same run but in Hardmode, that not only makes everything tougher but also gives *many* Dark Power amps?" I wanna see King making War Crimes again!
Fun Fact: If the 5 second slowdown DID stack multiplicatively, then ti would take around 1953125 seconds, which translates to about 542.53 hours!!! That's insane! (As for why it didn't take almost a month, Yggdrasil _technically_ changed into a different creature entirely for the second phase, which is proven by the fact that the item activates again.)
Did some quick math and if they are multiplied together, that would be 5^9 seconds which is roughly 22.5 days thereabouts. Based on what happens in the video, it clearly isn't that long, so there must be something in the game that puts a limiter on the amount of time a boss can be slowed for.
Okay so after doing some very basic and probably Very Incorrect math, the amount of time it would probably take for one enemy to fully unfreeze, is about an entire month Nerd process stuff for people who are going to correct me because this is probably wrong I think that the way the effect is coded, is that it just slows down the time for EVERYTHING connected to an enemy, which is why things like particles get slowed too. Since the game would normally have to check for more than one of this item with the slime existing, i think it’s probably done item slot to item slot, checking each slot one by one, applying the extra math for each extra item, and since the effect slows down EVERYTHING, that includes the timer that the item applies in the first place. So basically, math now First one gets multiplied by five eight times The second one gets multiplied by five seven times The third one gets multiplied by five six times You get the picture from there. After all this multiplication and adding up all the numbers, this should leave us with about 2,441,405 seconds. Now this is actually just under one month, but that doesn’t sound nearly as cool to the people who only read the first part of this comment, its actually about 0.9283614724 months, at least thats what the seconds converter I looked up on google told me. But still. Thats a month. Per enemy. Just to get back to normal speed. So anyways very good build, definitely recommend 👍

Have you ever wanted to play a game where you can be the warrior that perceives 1million slashes? Well now you can. I bet that warrior has to keep himself busy while the enemies catch up and then poses at the end to look good in anime.
You should get the dev menu mod the mr bacanudo made or I’m pretty sure mr bacanudo is the one that made it. But whatever you should get it because it because it’s basically every other mod but all in a menu that you can search the item/skull/quintessence up and spawn it, you can also change how fast the game goes up to like 3 times speed, you can change the stats of the character like how much physical or magical damage you do, how fast you move, even the cooldown of your skills and quintessence. It allows you to give yourself dark quartz, money, bone fragments, and dark hearts. Just keep in mind that it’s all in Korean except for some stuff, also the stat changer part is a bit janky you have to like exit and re enter the game for it to work if you used it in a run you died or completed. Now to add even more to this massive wall of text, you should also get the Dracula mod also by mr bacanudo, Dracula is basically sword skull but better with it healing 1 hp every time bleed is applied, so pair it with the bleed curse and your basically immortal, it’s base attack has a 10% chance of inflicting wound I’m pretty sure, Dracula is a base legendary so it needs no upgrading. And remember that you can reroll the curses in the area between acts by pressing the button that activates your quintessence.

As you play through the Dark Mirror you'll unlock the ability to choose any common or rare skulls, as well as a selection of staring items. However, I use mods so I can choose other things like Quintessences, higher quality skulls and items and more.
hi beelz xD yesterday i try a kiriz run with Hunter, well at sister fight i oneshotted both of the sister but the dmg calculate only one and the other was full life xD
So I did the unneeded math but given beelze only showed the end result of what was calced, I thought I would go ahead and do it for those curious So, each of the 5 seconds wouldn't add together but multiply, as such we would do (5^9)*X (dont worry about X for now), which would be about 1,953,125 seconds, divided by 60 to get into minutes (32,552 Minutes), then divide by 60 again for Hours (543 Hours), then if you want, divided by 24 to get days (23 Days) This should be, in theory, how long 1 boss takes. Granted, I obviously did something wrong given that it obviously didn't take Beelze 23 days, so idk if there's some kind of cap on how long an enemy can be effected by something, but you get the point. But here's the thing, each boss would be effected by that, tho for this it would be phase changes. This means that Yiggs, The Sisters, First Hero, and Possibly Jome would be effected (More on Jome Later). With this, X = 3, meaning it would take about 67 days to beat. But that's not all. If, by some unlucky miracle, you hit jome as she teleports, X = 4, meaning it would take you about 90 days. Yeah, kinda nuts
I wonder if the predator swap stacks with these is a similar way and how long would they last with just 2 daggers as something achievable in a normal (albeit very lucky) run

Jone is the only Boss probably where there is no problem with the item becouse you can just skip her second Phase. But you wont get the boss chest if you skip it.
What about 5 Pain & Despair with 4 Afterimage on Little Skul, or really any skull of your choice? It's a horrendously bad build, I think, but as a challenge run, I think it may be fun watch - if a bit frustrating to play at times. At least you get 100% Crit Chance of the Hidden Blade being at 4, and a little extra magic damage from the 4 Wisdom. Should be fun for my ADHD brain to watch the blue balls fly everywhere.
I know this is off topic but Astral Ascent has a new update and they changed a ton of stuff AGAIN. Auras are complete different and can be upgraded now. Less rooms to choose from, shop is in different spot. Honestly its kind of like Hades the setup and I dont know if I like the changes. The last update was killer and I loved it. This one is TBD.
The Dark Mirror stuff? You have to beat the game normally to unlock it yes. Extra skulls you don't need to. You unlock those with the Grave Robber NPC who appears sometimes at the shop. He trades them for Quartz. Be sure you've maxed out the Witch traits first before buying them. He also sells items. A lot of them. Once you get them they're all added to your pool.

it would also slow down Freeze and Stun effects, so anything that boosts damage to those targets would benefit greatly

Remember, he slows down enemies when he swaps in, so he could slow down enemies EVEN MORE.

Using the mod? You stand on the quartz tech machine that normally transforms Skul between his skins. Use it with a diff skull.
