sometimes I wish I still had that childlike fearlessness! I am really not a fan of slimy food, but I love the taste of natto, so I have kind of taught/forced myself to just deal with that natto slimy texture, but the first few bites still are always a bit of a shock to the system, so to see Kaya just tuck in to that natto roll with no fear or nothing was really cool
Hmm We know that there is a Natto Snack. They are dehydrated and have the taste of Natto without the slime... Maybe try those?

I feel you CrunchMom. I've had gluten intolerant/celiac disease my entire life but I react worse with dairy of any kind. So, I think I'm probably undiagnosed lactose intolerant, too.
Oh and if y'all are ever in the south you need to visit Buccee's ! They're next level - not necessarily food wise (those their BBQ is pretty good) but they've got EVERYTHING you could possibly need.

All of you are lactose, which means you can't have anything dairy or milk. That Seven-Eleven in Japan must be pretty cool with their cuisine of food. Do you like Japan Seven-Eleven or your city? I love seeing everyone including your children and you spending time together at a nice hotel for the week.😊😊😊
