It's not really appropriate to actually watch a vod in a conversation like this. Yes I can understand a glance at a scoreboard or even a short clip of it's particularly egregious but watching segments of vods and moving to another I think is beyond awkward in this context 😅

Regarding PromisQ. From what I remember, even though he wasn't considered a good player in the past, he wasn't really hated for that. He was even liked and memed while in G2 as a mascot. the time when he joined Astralis, he was just considered average. The actual hate by Reddit started once a couple of high-elo players shared him being extremely toxic in SoloQ, wishing cancer, etc. This was combined with him having bad games and the hivemind's hate just grew. And then, Reddit considered it to be pretty hypocritical to attack BausFFS for inting when he's known to be really toxic in SoloQ himself. And yeah, after that he was hated no matter how he played. Not defending Reddit at all, but I don't think it's fair to say that people started hating PromisQ because he was bad. They hated him because he was toxic AND average.
Funny how the original excuse for NA's stagnation was that the team's didn't want to risk relegation. Now the excuse is the team's don't want to miss Worlds. In trying to become the NFL, Riot turned the LCS into the MLS. Really is just a place for once great players at the end of their careers to come and get a nice check before sailing off into the sunset on a sea of the corpses of relatively below average players.
The conclusion Ive come to in regards of being a university student relative to someone not getting an education is that we would be good and excel at different things at a workplace. I as an engineer try to find neat solutions to stuff while I wouldnt actually be able to do the work as good as the worker which takes my commands
I am not sure if innovation is the best sc2 player of all time i mean life got banned. But for anyone who hasnt watched SC2 watching innovation play for the first time was like watching the game be played perfectly. Like there are obviously amazingly skilled players but when i first saw him play i was like this person is playing the game correctly and everyone else is playing the game wrong.
i mean, it is definitely clear that there are LoL players that take adderall, although i wouldn't be surprised if it was mostly prescription and like... needed, for functioning properly. i mean, Jensen's pupils are as wide as saucers when he plays, and when you look at the players at worlds... iono maybe it's like you think everyone is high if you're high, but if you know what to look for it sure seems to be not that uncommon. i do agree that it makes you shut out the world / has some clear downsides as well, so it is no panacea, so i'm sure there are plenty of players who have tried it and don't do it (or have never considered it). from what i understand, beta blockers are sometimes used by esporters on the whole calming one's self down front, but i have no idea how common that is, or how big of an impact it'd make. maybe if you took both? haha.

The problem with German Laws is the following: Esports is not considered a sport, due to our politicians and major influencers like Thomas Bach or Uli Hoeneß being ignorant old men. That's why you can't apply for athletes visas, which are easy to get, but for a performer/artist visa. And the Gambit players were never able to get those, which is why they had to travel "home" after every weekend. And yes, moving your league to the country that doesn't accept you as a sports league is the dumbest option, so of course Riot did it... since this is Riots favorite approach.

@@Dardobul Gen G wouldnt be able to play vs TES but every series would go 4 because Tes is gonna throw 1 game after stomping early. Tian and knight would dumpster peanut/chovy. V5 would be closer but i'd still give the edge to v5. To beat v5 you need to dumpster rich, i dont believe in doran to be able to do that.

They are ironically talking about his salty run backs will they are saltily attempting to prove their confirmation bias... And why wouldn't u run back a team comp. When you practice something u practice the same thing over and over. U practice individual parts... Then I practice the thing as a whole... If u are practicing a team comp style like an enchanter based team comp... W a team who is not used to playing the comp style... Win lose or draw I would think u would continue practicing the style even w different champs. That's how u get the item break points, that's how u figure w to pivot strats. If anything he should have stated each strat would be a set amounts of games regardless of the outcome. This scrim strat confirmed to me LS had a long term plan that us pissy Americans trashed before giving it a real try. Even Sven's comments, which were respectful, highlighted the issue w NA. He said he didn't know if it was increasing the value of the Challenger team or if was better to practice vs EG... Did we see what happened to EG on the international stage? They looked pretty bad vs the best competition. I mean at what point is NA going to try something new? NA has been ass at international tournaments and want to keep trying their "systems"...
