Great pod cast! Totally enjoy these shows. Your topics are relevant to us duffers as well as the better players. Keep up the great work, you guys and Ping are awesome! After watching all of your pod cast I’m totally sold on Ping being my next set of clubs. Thanks for all your hard work!

I like Ping, have plenty of their clubs. but shafts have little effect on ball flight and output. There are PLENTY of videos of people hitting shafts in the same head on youtube and there being very little difference in results. You test shafts for feel and comfort. The more comfortable you feel with a shaft, the better your delivery will be and that's the performance gain you see. Guys who swing well with anything can show that shaft performance and change to flight is very limited. Get a shaft you like the feel of and if it falls within your normal performance window, you won't find much better by changing or hunting for more. Head loft, weigth, size, COG etc are MUCH more effective in changing flight characteristics of the ball.

With the data of strokes gained, do tour players switch up shafts according to course driving difficulty. Do they just stick with the gamer?
