Great story's when you watched the tv you imagined it in colour , when the ice was on the inside of the windows we would put coats on the bed to keep us warm and you only had heating in the living room and a gas cooker in the kitchen the ivy ends up that thick it ruins the fence and can pull it down with the weight great team work 😊

One of your best videos son. Very entertaining. Odd thing but as i was listening to big Al.... I found myself talking back at him even though I wasn't there.... But once he went on about the outside loo's , my emotions got the better of me and I went through a box of tissues 😭....it must have been the cold.😂🤣 Dad👍🍺

Happy New Year Pete - Ivy is the bain of my life, it needs to go!! All of my customers have huge Ivy problems so much so its grown into the cob, stonework and up through the roof tiles. Houses are left empty here in France for 10-15 years until all of the beneficiaries agree to sell in the meantime they will not fork out for maintenance

Yesterday mate I just serviced my kit after this job Most of these attachments are quite old now Last thing I need to service is the br800 I’m picking up a service kit tomorrow just need to change fuel and air filters spark plug and adjust the valves inside Happy new year Steve

@@studeeming it’s a black fence panel with some slat like panels on the side Whatever the customer wants we’ll do if she likes it we’ll leave it Me personally would love to remove it and clean up the fence
As Big Al mentioned, it will grow through and separate the panels. Also, it will rot the wood by trapping moisture. Removing it is very therapeutic. It's one less thing to do/worry about when you are there.

I'd get the local farmer to do with his hedgecutter would of cost the owner 50 quid max and done in 10 mins

It’s a Stihl Kombi unit called the KM-94 RC-E. with the hedge trimmer attachment.

Not a fan of ivy, it's a nuisance whatever surface it is growing on. Some customers love it as coverage, some hate it. Always best to ask.
