I also am one of the few giga that has chill, as I'm willing to live and let live if I'm not mothering a baby. You come within a set distance of my spawn your not leaving that distance with a pulse.

@@windigo1592 yup still chill. Kinda hard not to be when I know I can get railed by something I could kill by accidentally stepping on it. Can't go mad with *ULTIMATE POWHA* !!! When something smaller then my droppings can kill me with enough effort.
Spinosaur feels like a combo of grizzly bear/ saltwater croc when I play it. You got for fish and smaller game but no one expects you to hunt down huge speedier prey. You can kill just about anything as an adult but it's easier living by the rivers and swamps.

For Shpeeno you’ve got an option of two play styles: Water or Defence specialist
If you’re speed species, then going full water with charge bite makes you very fast, pretty good at turning, and capable of a lot of damage.
If you go Defence build with speed Shpeeno, although you won’t be quite as tanky, you’ll have a better turn radius which is pretty good for defence
I truly cannot wait for the whole combat update and new abilities the devs mentioned before, because damn, Spino needs a buff

Hopefully they also improve the connection quality soon because i can't even pvp without people teleporting around
Here me out amarg should get a block Ability like styra got in the other especially cause amarg cannot outrun high tiers and those spikes it’s should get it so it can block high tiers bites and it should have reflective damage and it has high Stam to so it would work well
Spino already got a buff and is actually stronger now since you can spam attacks if you know how to PvP it wouldn't be a problem

Spino is one of the strongest playables in the game, problem is hes dying due to being outnumbered and fighting modded creatures.
A new study states that spinosaurus can fly by spinning its tail in a helicopter like motion
Actually that was disproved 5 seconds ago when a new study found evidence of it being able to fire off scales that turn into remote detonation explosives.

If you're going to be fighting other players a spino you have to be double defense and you can't let your opponent get behind you once you get used to it spino can be pretty op

Hey beaves u should also switch your key binds for your attacks. Change 1 to the middle scroll wheel on your mouse and then change 2 to R. It should make attacking much better!

Hey Beaver great vid just a heads up Spino has one of the best turn radius on land ,You just have to learn not to hold down precise movement. And having the high ground makes your claws more effective.
Speed spino is only good in the water in that spino v spino fight you were out speeding the defensive builds and were able to get some really good charge bites and get out fast which is what made the fight as close as it was. The reason so many things are going at you on land is probably because you're a speed spino. Defense stands more of a chance on land since it has a better turn radius and is tanky.
Just over halfway in and this is why I've never grown anything bigger than a cerato. I only play solo so growing anything bigger just to lose all that grwoth to someone because they have a group is really undesirable. I know that's not the same for everyone but it really sucks to see happen.
There are some servers that are easier than others. So if you die, it doesn't take long to become full grown again. Also if you die, you don't lose all your growth.

Hell yeah! Spino is my favorite irl Dino and while not my favorite Dino to play as (unless I just want to chill) it’s still awesome. One trick for fighting on them against apexes I’ve found out is hip riding. There is a specific spot up against the hip where tail attacks and bite attacks don’t hit. The spinos turning radius on land when not holding precise movement is actually really good so it’s easy to stay in that area while your opponent either misses you completely or nibbles your tail when done correctly. Hope this helps!
Looks like as a Spino you’re forced to take double defensive build if you actually want to survive without being in a pack. This Dino seems to walk an awkward middle ground between the water and land

Can't pick a speed spino and then try and be a big tanky predator. Also the claw attack as low range and seems like you miss it frequently, it also does less damage than the bite. (This also applies for sucho)

I found this pretty funny xD spent the first twenty minutes talking about how you love how Spinos don't need to fight anything. The last 40mins of the video is you fighting everything you can, slowly getting further from your original morals.

Hey beaver just a small thing but the reason big lips took more damage in the fight with the eotrike was because sometimes you were accidentally biting his head instead of the trike because he was so close to you and also because the trike was most likely getting head hits as well since the trike was facing him.

as an avid player, while it can be fun for sure, for some reason i enjoy watching someone else play lol loving all the PoT vids
It's crazy how much people were being cowards when facing him, it just crazy and the fact that this has only happened when he plays spino not counting the first time he played it.
34:10 as a spino never stay away from water especially at crater. U can retreat to the water. That’s the only reason the allos won
The whole time I was thinking why did you go to the crater. It’s basically a death trap for a spino cuz you are pretty much surrounded by land and only small ways out with such a small water pond.

I think if you wanna play as Apex on PoT, you should go for the def species, i mean even if you used speed build on apexes, they still can't outrun most mid tier dinos and all apexes don't have enough stams either to run away from a fight, so if you playing solo as Apex you should go for the def species. And speed build apexes are pretty much vulnerable to other apexes and midtier packs.
Gaming beaver nice video it had so many turns and bends and too many denod and rexes. But spinos can’t really quest as sea. Spikes can travel through the ocean maybe but you can’t quest as Spino constantly needs water and can’t drink salt water. Sarco can quest at sea but ain’t built for it as sarco can be in water and not need any water.
I love all the Zelda songs and references Beaver edits into his gameplays, also Spino is my favorite nonhybrid dinosaur thanks to Path Of Titans.

Ngl i think defense is way better than speed sense the only thing you would use speed for is running away and even then you might still die because you ran out of stamina
Edit: 33:50 is why you only go defense build because there's really no point in speed if you still can't catch up to something small

The best way to be a Spino in pvp, is on a mixpacking server so u can have access to all water sources. Once u have control of the water ,when in pvp u need to use the water as a wall and back ur tail to the water and ur head always facing the opponent

The playstyle of Spino is the same as the other carni apexes, never ever be alone cause other apex players will allways be 2 and they will never ever risk fighting anything unless they have a clear advantage ^^. *Edit In my experience as solo speed spino you have to be extremly careful out of water, but in water you are the 1v1 king, just gotta make sure the opponent is acctually alone =P

I would of went defence spino because even with speed you cant really escape anything and the charged bite instead of regular, charged bite is way better pvp wise and does a ton of damage. But i will say the theri you can kill and turn well and its the best herbi in my opinion
To be a good spino player you need to be able to tackle the fact that you WILL be teamed on and you will be targeted by most things that move. I go for a speed build spinosaurus in the water, you'll need skill for it to matter though.

Best spino build is double defense nothing else too it. Yu can tank more as you wont be able to chase anything in the first place less speed isnt horrible.
That's what I was thinking. Every single time he tried to chase something, he failed. Every battle he was in, he failed. So what's the point of making a 'speed' build if it's useless?

I've found you either go down the 'fish' route or the 'land' route. But you can't go down the middle road, because there isn't really any.
Because I had the option for fish, I tend to go with the swimming speed and such because it allows you to effectively hunt fish and other water creatures.
