If you insist on keeping it formal, I'd prefer to be, "Mr. Ride." I'd also tell people I married Sally and took her name.😜

    Hi !
Super cool and thanks for super pro presentation by the way.
Does it require any additional device or software or is it just the way you actuate the trigger ?

    • @VerdantRide

Nope. Nothing special. It's all in the technique.

Haha, glad you enjoyed the solar-powered water foot wash! I'm coining it the 'Solar Sand Douche' (SSD). If you're interested in setting one up yourself, here are the links:

These will get you started on your own dock setup!"

Retracting waist leash works great and is never pulling against the weight and momentum of the board. Off your feet, it's never in the way.

Kaper Call works great, never in the way and looks cooler than fashion accessories made for janitors :P

      Try it yet?

Not yet. I just resealed my remote. When replaced the lanyard on it I caused a leak. That and I slammed my foot. Probably another week. That will definitely be a neat trick to pick up

Great tip. 4 years of riding and we didn’t think of this. Thanks. Where are you located? What is that lake called?

@TomHoffmanJr, thanks for your comment! We're glad you found the tip helpful. We're based in Minnesota, and the lake featured in this episode is Big Carnelian Lake. It's a fantastic spot for eFoiling with clear water and great conditions. If you're ever in the area, it's definitely worth a visit!
      Happy eFoiling!

Wind and waves can be challenging but with practice I can get it to come back to me. Sometimes it just takes a couple of tries.

Gonna have to practice this one a bit before it'll work for me in the ocean, I think. Nice one VR

How do you do this with the 4? I have like a “fence” around mine where my remote leaves the “fence” and I get no power.

Yes, Verdant Ride has tested the new Kaper Call technique on the Lift4 Pro, Lift3 Pro, and Lift2 Sport, all with tall mast and standard controller.
It seems like you're referring to a geofence feature. Lift eFoils typically don't include this feature. If you're using a different controller or brand, it might have specific settings or restrictions. Could you provide more details about your setup? This will help us give you the best advice!"

Dude just wear a leash. All this is ridiculous. My leash never gets in the way

    • @VerdantRide
      @VerdantRide  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Dude! What is ridiculous about a self-returning efoil? What's so ridiculous about me or hundreds of others preferring a self-returning efoil to a leash. Are you one of those strange parents who keep your kids on a leash so they don't go running off in public? Shock collars are much more effective :P
If I wanted a leash, I'd freak'n use one. I don't for many reasons. 1. I like minimizing the amount of gear I use on a ride. 2. I think that at the speeds I'm traveling and given the weight of the board, the last thing I need is to be attached to the board given I often find myself 20 feet away from my board when I go sailing. I don't want a 20 foot leash. I want a complete separation from the board when that happens. I'm secure in my relationship with my board and I'm sure we'll meet again if it is meant to be even if I don't keep it in a 24/7 bondage situation. You know what they say? "If you love it set it free…"
I like using the Kaper Call and I can't fathom a single viable reason why you should care that I do or would waste even a single second of your life complaining that I don't use a leash. Do you sell efoil leashes? Then I guess I can think of 1 reason you'd care. Sorry I stole your livelihood. Maybe do something more valuable with your life than selling a bungie cord that I made obsolete with a squeeze of my finger. Why don't you make a video that gets 6000 views explaining why using a leash with an efoil is so much cooler and so much, "less ridiculous" than a technique that makes your efoil self-returning? There's lots you can do, but telling me I'm ridiculous for preferring a simple way to make your efoil return is folly.
