Thank you for your video. I was looking to build a button box and I was a little overwhelmed with the amount of arcade boards out there. Your video helped a lot.
Your welcome thanks for watching
1:36 - was the Part i actually needed & was looking for whole Month
Nice!
A good start, well done
Thank you
Hi Great job. Do hoy know if can i connect a rotary encoder to this usb interfase? Tks
You can also use ON - ON toggle switches to get around programming/double toggling a switch and they don't cost any more the ON - OFF switches.
DOES that mean I can use an on on to the usb encoder? And will the 2 ons be different butons?
@@scgamesonline7771 I'm not sure of you're exact use in your example, but yes about it being 2 buttons. One side of the switch is always on, it just depends which way it is switched. You can use the same switch and not connect one side to anything and it will act as a standard on-off switch. Hope this helps.
@@stevenarandall i should have clarified. I want to connect an on-off-on switch on the encoder (it has three pins) and use the 2 ons us different butons(2 buttons I mean lest say one will be translated as buton one and the other as button 2)
@@scgamesonline7771 Yes it is basically the same switch physically, except it has a stopping point in the middle position of the switch. The On-on also has 3 connections. Connection A - Ground - Connection B
@@stevenarandall thank you. To clarify what I need to do is connect one of the cable do one of the slots in the connector and then connect the signal cable of another set to the encoder
Nice, thank you.
There are toggle momentary switches. I like MomentaryOn/Off/MomentaryOn since it stays in neutral position can give this feel of switching up and down without resetting.
Yes those are nice, but a little harder to find and more expensive.
is there a way to wire led 3 blade switches to the first board you show? or can it only take momentary buttons?
Excellent, got all the parts coming so haven't built mine yet for ATS but using plug and play type encoder, but how to program buttons, especially ctrl plus g for recording vids in game
Not sure I follow your question.
If you ordered the same program board it shows up as a joystick. So you set the key bindings like you would for a wheel or joystick
WOOOHOOOO. Well done.
Thank you, my friend,
I use SV mapper to do the simple toggle solution you describe.
Yup that works
noob to this stuff, just wondering is it possible to run 2 of these boards at the same time ? ( I want to have 2 of these inside my diy dash I plan to build.
Little tip for people, the 2 holes on the board that are labeled 5v but have no white connector on it but you can wire the 5v wire to them for LED switches I.E i have a Engine Start lit up button and works great so you have the option for 2 leds switches or buttons. I am not sure you can daisy chain the 5V connection to add more as im new to this but maybe someone could tell me is there a limit and if you can add more than 2 led buttons to the 2 5V connections what is the max amount.
Thanks for a great video
Great advice thanks for sharing
Hey awesome video! One question: let's say I have a USB Zero delay board and I want to have even more outputs/buttons...what happens if I plug another one? Will Windows recognize the two of them? Or it will see the both of them as ONE? 🤔
In order to be able to always assign the directions keys, you will need to switch the board mode (the green light will light up instead of the red one) the board then switches from analog axis input to digital input up, down, left, right and so you gain 4 more inputs.
Thanks for the input didn't know that
How to do that?
@@denisegorov7119 You assign a button and connect it to the mode input. That will change the CB from analog to digital (you can test it: Analog = Red light // Digital = Green light).
This is because by default the CB is in analog mode. So you need to assign the mode button (I have it on the back of my button box) and voila 4 more inputs for free.
@@youmasenchi i have a broken ps4 controller. Can i use its analog joysticks with this board? Does it work like a quality analog(half pulled left etc) or just fully up/down/right/left?
@@requiem4adreamc I guess you could fiddle around and make 1 joystick work. It will only support 1 joystick. For the second half of your question, I honestly don't know. I think that in your case an Arduino board would recommendable.
I can't wait to see how to wire and program the rotary switch. I haven't found anything about this kind of switch
Did you find anything on the rotary switch?
What would you like to know?
@@DeltaBravoProductions How do you wire the rotary switch to the zero delay usb encoder?
More specifically to make an ignition w/key for ATS/ETS2
Like a normal switch I could have to post a picture to explain. If your looking for a car ignition switch I've never done that but shouldn't be hard as there are some new settings I saw in ATS.
I use the same bored an all on these switches on racing sims a ats/ets no issues with toggles or anything
the plug in board? rotary encoders? no issues?
Will this work in Android device with OTG?
please let me know I've been searching alot to get the answer.
Thanks
Would love a follow up on this video!

Can I use on-off-on momentary toggle switches with this board?
Yes not a problem
Hello ! Does the first bord (the one called « Usb Joystick ») work on windows 10 ?
I believe so
DeltaBravo Productions thanks :)
Nice video explanation. Where to take software to flash Tennsy for doing button box plz ?
The script is avalible on my website.
@@DeltaBravoProductions script downloaded 👌. Teensy LC flashed 👌... But, is it possible to have connection diagram plz ? Not sure to be able to wire encoders 🤔.
@@makefred I dont have a diagram available, but if you check the pins on the code you should know where to plug them. One gos to ground, and one gos to the number pin.
@@DeltaBravoProductions that's OK. I found how does it work. Works fine with encoders to PIN 123456 and push button to other pin. Thank u very much my friend. Great job. ❤️
@@makefred your welcome. Glad to be of help. Feel free to go on my discord and share your project!
Hello, can i use a potentiometer on the usb encoder board?
Yes you could
Do I have to map each time when I plug these .. if I have one for each game.
Not sure why you would have one for each game?
Explain a little more please
If I have button for ets2 on one wheel.. And different button on another wheel.. and I change the wheel for the game. I just thought of bringing the female usb connector through the wheel and just plug and play. So I have one port connected in my computer with female end inside my diy ffb wheel and connect the wheel with this usb side and just use it.. Hope I clearly asked you my doubt.!
does it work to win 10?
Hey is it possible to use a multiple usb encoder in one pc and use it as a different function in game?
I personally had 3 boards in 1 button box. It does work the problem is that Windows recognizes these 3 boards (in my example) as the same. So what will happen is that occasionally the buttons you assigned to a certain in game function will switch to another board you didn't assigned.
Yes its possible
I see in this video your're using a rotary encoder with zero delay usb encoder... is it possible to use it? how it works and how are connections? thanks a lot! interesting video! ;)
Sorry for the late response th-cam.com/video/UFtSDK8vdi4/w-d-xo.html
He uses it as a rotary selector switch, meaning it stays on 1 position. You can not use the rotary switches with variation as you would for let's say volume, as far as I know with this board.
hey man.... could i use 2 of these USB Encoder things inside of a Box so basically i would get 24 buttons on a box instead of 12.... i know i would have the 2 USB cables coming out the back or the side.... and then i would plug both USB cables into my PC.... i was just wondering if you could help me out and let me know if that would actually work? would it register as 2 different USB controllers allowing me to have 24 buttons.... or will the PC not allow 2 of them to work at the same time? i feel like it should work but before i buy a 2nd USB encoder and parts to start doing it i just wanna ask around and see if anyone knows if that would work or not.... thank you for your help! and thanks for making the video too!
- Yes you can use 2-3-4 of them if you wanted, it will be seen as two diffrent controllers no problem
@@DeltaBravoProductions awesome thanks :P i ended up getting 2 of them and in the process of building the box now...almost done pretty excited for it lol cause just testing it out sitting on my desk it should all work just fine..
Nice Nice !
can i use these buttons with autohotkey?
Not sure what is autoHotkey?
What about on-on-on toggle?
You can use them. Just your button will always stay on.
The guts from a used Xbox controller will give you 14 buttons and six axis. It costs one dollar at a thrift store and most flight simulators will let you map as many controllers as you want.
do i need the micro controller
Does this board work with toggle switches or only with "single click" buttons
With any switch you want
@@DeltaBravoProductions awesome!
I want to build my own button box for x-plane 11.
Thank you for your quick reply! :)
