- just going over how I wired up my ignition switch on my button box and make it function like a real truck's ignition using the release/press keymapping on JoyToKey.
using this method also allows single pole - single throw switches to act as single button presses when flipped to each position without the use of a relay.

Hello everyone at because it doesn't work that when the key is back in the neutral position the truck is off. The following is what you do as in the video, only that instead of two times E at Input2 you select a different key, i.e. Input1 E/Input2 F (example ).In the game you then have to use the Input1 key primary and Input2 key secondary for motor current. It didn't work for me either until I came to this solution and lo and behold it worked, hope it could help some

I have put a toggle stwitch like the ones seen in your video but when I map it only the power option is activated. Example: I turn on the strobe light on top of the truck with the switch in the ON position, but when I want to turn off that strobe light, I put the switch in the OFF position but the light does not turn off. What I can do?? Thank you

the thing isnt working i did what was told for the ignit8ion but it still only turns off when i goto off then the normal position

i have a shifter knob with switches for splitting gears, this works fine using the in game toggle, but it has an additional toggle built into the grip. i want it to be a simple on and off switch, i cannot get it to work using joytokey, i still have to toggle it twice
This is what annoys me with my build... I have an rocker switch w/ safety cover and a push button start. And the ignition switch annoys me. With this work on that set up as well?
In my joytokey i do not have as many options as you do i think thats why mine is not setting correctly

Anyone else having issues getting it to work. Mine will for a little bit except it won't turn off when you turn the key off. Then, all of a sudden, the game does not register the control anymore.
a little bit late, try assigning two different buttons in joytokey . For example for engine start: primary=E; secondary:F. For me it worked this way

Looks great. The only problem with me is that I can't remember all my buttons on g29 haha so I will have to have a sheet paper to write down all this.
